Just to soothe,
Just to relax,
Just for you.
Wherever you are in the world,
I thank you for joining me,
Across time and space,
Sending you encouragement on your path.
Perhaps you feel anxious today,
Restless,
Experiencing anger,
Frustrations,
Disappointment,
Despair,
Hopelessness,
Fear,
Worries,
Shame,
Self-hate,
Loneliness,
Or perhaps even joyfulness.
It's okay,
We're going to take some deep breaths and see if we can let go of some of the pain and come back to faith in the unfolding of our life.
It's not always easy to trust the unfolding of our life,
With all the challenges,
The less than ideal circumstances,
But nevertheless,
That's what we're doing today,
Coming back to trust.
So without being sad,
Getting comfortable,
Becoming aware of your posture,
Aware of how your body is set.
You can lie down if you like,
Or sit up straight,
Bringing more awareness to the whole body.
You can gently close the eyes,
Tuning deeper into your inner space,
Taking a deep breath in,
And exhale,
Old life,
Old energy,
And exhale,
Letting go of fear,
Breathing in trust.
And exhale,
Letting go of anxieties,
Worries,
Insecurities,
Simply letting them go as you breathe in compassion,
And exhale,
Letting go of frustrations,
Breathing into the whole body,
And exhale,
Relaxing the whole body,
Softening the face,
Relaxing the belly,
Letting go of tension in the hands and feet,
Breathing in harmonious energy,
And exhale,
Letting go of the inner conflict,
And exhale,
Letting go of confusion,
Self-doubt,
Coming back to believing in yourself,
Believing in the unfolding of your path,
As you breathe in,
Relaxing,
Letting go of tension in the whole body,
Softening,
Releasing.
Notice where the body is still holding on,
Still tense,
And with your awareness,
Softening the face,
The jaw,
The eyes,
To the top,
Becoming aware of your presence as you hold the breath,
Taking a deep breath in,
Holding that breath at the top,
And exhale,
Letting go.
Taking a deep breath in,
And a deep breath out.
Way to stay with it,
My friend.

Today,
As purple,
As an ostrich,

Wishing you to be creative,
To recognize that there's ideas left on the table,
That when facing all of these challenges,
The lack,
The limitation,
The worries,
Feeling like it's difficult to sometimes meet our own needs,
There's always room for being creative to think.
Not just making a painting,
Making music,
But being creative in the sense of generating new ideas,
Approaching your life.
We're doing the same thing each day.
Sometimes we can think of possible solutions,
But we don't actually spend that much time really generating ideas.
This is a beautiful thing to do,
Even if you can just take 20 minutes each day to just sit there and generate ideas,
To think outside of the box.
To get creative is more than just making arts and crafts or making a meditation video.
To me,
Being creative is thinking in new ways,
Holding new perspectives,
Holding new solutions that maybe before seemed impossible or undesirable,
Or maybe you couldn't even have thought of such an idea before.
It takes time,
It takes being patient with just sitting with yourself sometimes before you go to bed,
Sitting out,
Looking up at the stars,
Looking up at the moon,
Letting your mind roam and think of ideas.
I don't know why I'm sharing this with you today,
But if you're listening to this,
Perhaps it's time to start generating some new ideas.
