Hi there my darlings.
You found your way to this meditation because you're ready to release the heaviness,
The weight of whatever is pressing on your heart,
Mind and body.
We all carry weight,
Physical,
Emotional,
And mental.
Sometimes it becomes so heavy that we forget how to set it down.
Today we'll explore what feels heavy in your life.
Not to judge but to gently acknowledge and begin the process of letting go.
Find a comfortable position that feels supportive for release.
If you feel cold,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
And let's start with a few deep breaths together to ground ourselves.
Breathe in gently through your nose,
Letting your belly rise.
Exhale fully,
Releasing the air and anything you're ready to let go of.
Let's do that again.
Inhale deeply,
Filling up your lungs.
And exhale,
Letting it all fall away.
Now we'll move into a gentle body scan.
Imagine a golden light,
Warm and soothing,
Beginning at the top of your head.
As it moves slowly down,
It illuminates areas that feel tight,
Heavy,
And weighed down.
Breathe into those areas of tension.
Notice how the golden light warms and connects to the heaviness,
Bringing awareness and comfort.
Where in your body are you holding stress,
Tension,
Or emotional weight?
Allow the golden light to grow brighter in those places,
Softly loosening the grip of what feels heavy.
Now I invite you to give your emotional or mental weight a physical form.
It can be a heavy backpack,
A large stone,
Or even a chain.
It's whatever resonates with you.
Take a moment to observe this weight.
What does it look like?
What does it feel like?
Is it familiar?
Is it old or new?
Without judgment,
Acknowledge its presence.
It has been part of your journey,
But it doesn't have to defy you.
As you continue to breathe,
Visualize the golden light surrounding this weight.
With each exhale,
Imagine the weight becoming lighter,
Smaller,
And dissolving all together.
Picture the golden light shimmering and breaking into tiny sparkles as it rises into the air,
Taking pieces of your heaviness with it.
Feel your body growing lighter with every breath.
Remembering every small release creates space for healing.
If it feels right,
Repeat this affirmation aloud or in your heart.
I am strong enough to carry what serves me and wise enough to release what no longer does.
Breathe deeply and say it again.

Feel the truth of those words settling into your being.
As we close,
Notice how your body feels now compared to when we began.
Perhaps the heaviness feels lighter,
Even if it's just a little.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment by wiggling your fingers and toes,
Taking a deep grounding breath.
Slowly open your eyes,
Letting yourself re-enter the space around you.

For being present,
And for honoring your journey by facing what feels heavy.
