Hi there my darling,

I welcome you to this rainy day release and cleanse meditation.

Rainy days provide an opportunity for release,

Cleansing and growth.

Our mind is a collection of experiences and every time you reflect inwardly you are actively involved in these experiences.

Meditation allows you to observe yourself and your attitude greatly influences what you perceive.

Some people view rainy days with a negative attitude,

Finding them dreary.

Let's change our perspective on this rainy day.

Whenever you're prepared,

Make sure you are in a comfortable position,

You can open a window and listen to the rain,

Or you might prefer to go outside and sit under cover,

Or in your parked car,

Listening to the rain hitting the windshield,

Or perhaps even boldly sitting directly in the rain.

You can feel at ease by either closing your eyes while you listen,

Or by keeping your eyes open with a gentle gaze to watch the droplets fall.

Inhale deeply,

And as you exhale,

Did you catch the scent of the rain?

This earthly aroma is thought to have protective and cleansing properties,

Connecting those of today with their ancestors.

Rainy days can invoke a range of emotions and people.

While some may feel reluctant to go out in the weather,

Others may find comfort and tranquility in staying indoors and listening to the rain.

Rainy days also offer an opportunity for introspection,

And the calming sound of rain can aid in mental clarity.

It is known that creative individuals thrive on rainy days,

As it provides a perfect setting for inspiration.

The rain serves as a reminder for everyone to grow,

And it's crucial to continue evolving in life.

Can you recall a time when you danced in the rain?

I can.

As a kid,

I enjoyed dancing in the rain.

It was incredibly playful and enjoyable.

I would stomp on every puddle while laughing.

Thinking about the rain felt magical back then.

Even now,

As I am still enchanted by the rain,

Because I always listen to my favorite artist Prince and his iconic song,

Purple Rain,

I think it's appropriate and uplifting to bring some sunshine into a gloomy rainy day.

Can you think of ways to brighten things up even when the weather is dreary?

Take a deep breath in,

My darling,

And exhale it out.

I will step away for a brief moment to give you some time to think about this question.

Before I go,

As you ponder on my question,

Your thoughts and body were in sync.

What can make your day better when it's raining?

Perhaps it's a change in mindset.

Just remember,

The weather doesn't determine your future.

Let go of what is no longer benefiting you and view this rainfall as nourishment for your soul,

Promoting growth.

It is also a purification of any negative emotions you may be holding onto.

Observe the subtle changes in your mind and body at this very moment.

You are the one who initiated this shift,

My darling.

You came here today to meditate,

Seeking to experience the benefits of releasing and cleansing yourself of any negativity,

Just like a refreshing rain.

Take a deep breath in,

And exhale it out.

One last time,

Inhale,

And exhale.

Keep in mind that your breath symbolizes a new beginning,

Similar to the rain,

Nourishing the earth and allowing growth.

Continue breathing as you begin to re-enter your surroundings,

Wherever you may be.

Now,

When you open your eyes,

Observe the rain in a new light.
