Acceptance that the present moment is perfect can sometimes feel a bit of a stretch. Through mantra meditation, the mind can be anchored into the present moment. Repetition of words helps encourage acceptance of things as they are. Using the yogic Japa practice, this practice has 1minute spoken out loud, 1 minute whispering, and 1 minute in the mind. Supported by the sounds of nature, this practice was recorded in Tasmania, Australia.

Welcome to this outdoor meditation with the natural sound of the waves and the wind with the songbirds carried song through the trees.

Take a moment to settle yourself in your own surrounds and to those of the scenescape from this meditation practice.

Acknowledge the sounds just as they're watching the screen going past.

The mantra for this practice that we shall repeat for the first minute out aloud is as follows.

Where I am right now is exactly where I need to be.

Where I am right now is exactly where I need to be.

Where I am right now is exactly where I need to be.

Where I am right now is exactly where I need to be.

Where I am right now is exactly where I need to be.

Where I am right now is exactly where I need to be.

Continue with this whispering the words to yourself for the next minute.

Continue with this whispering the words to yourself for the next minute.

Continue with this whispering the words to yourself for the next minute.

Continue with this whispering those words in your mind's eye only for the next minute.

Continue with this whispering the words to yourself for the next minute.

Just continue the practice and just come back again to acknowledging the sounds around the recording.

Come back to your body.

Notice any feelings in your body.

When you are ready,

Gently open your eyes and continue with your day in full acceptance that you are exactly where you need to be.
