Hi Resilient Sunshine!
Please take a comfortable position whether you'd be seated or laying down.
This is actually a moment where you can hold yourself comfortably without any pressure to perform.
There's no right or wrong position here,
Just some place where you can be,
Right?
And when you're settled,
I'd like you to bring your hands over your heart,
Right?
Just on your chest over your heart area,
One hand over the other and just hold yourself there for a second.
And right here we're going to start taking a deep breath in and exhale from the mouth.
And if you can,
Take another couple of deep breaths in and out.
Deep breath in from the nose and a deep breath out,
Exhaling everything that's been wearing you today so far.
I take another deep breath in and out.
Don't feel shy,
Feel free to make some noise when you're exhaling.
You know what?
Let's take another deep breath in and follow with a ha where you exhale loudly.
So come on in,
Deep breath in,
In.
Here we go.
We're right there,
Settled in our body.
And it might not seem that obvious right there but that's already a great way to be showing up for yourself,
Right?
Outside of all the worries that you can carry along through your day,
This is really the moment where you can have these seconds for yourself,
No pressure.
You can notice some thoughts coming through your mind and don't hold them against you,
Just just notice them,
Notice them and you know just breathe them out and let them be,
It's okay.
This space you find yourself right now,
There's no judgment,
Just here to notice and tune in a little bit more in your body.
So just take this time to feel your body,
You know,
Your hands are still on your chest holding yourself dearly there.
See if you can wiggle a little your shoulders,
You know,
Just gently,
You know,
Be mindful of your breathing,
Breathing in and out at your own rhythm and as you breathe in and out,
Whether you're laying down or sitting,
Just let your shoulders move side to side,
Whatever feels comfortable,
You know,
Let them move side to side,
No pressure,
Let that movement shake a little bit the world of your worries,
You know,
Let these movements just grant your body some life,
You know,
Nothing is weighting it down.
Just taking a moment to appreciate being there,
The little movements,
Just there,
That's it.
Now see if you can also add a little bit of movement with your hips,
You know,
Almost like a little dance and you're still sitting or laying down,
Just adding a little bit of mini shake from side to side,
You know,
Just giving yourself the opportunity to move just a tiny bit and just remind yourself that you're there in this body right now and as you're moving,
I'm going to ask you again to take a deep breath in and a deep breath out and letting all your worries of this day get out with this breath,
With the sound out loud but the only difference here is that after you take a deep breath in and as you're exhaling,
I will want you to stop moving after the breath finish escaping your mouth.
So here we go,
We take a deep breath in and we exhale everything and remain still.
That's right,
That's right.
Let the movement stop and you might feel a little tingle somewhere in your body,
Might feel a bit warm,
Maybe you're cold but just allow yourself,
Allow yourself to be there for a second now,
Just thank yourself here for a second,
Thank you,
Ah thank you,
Thank you for this moment,
Thank yourself for showing up,
Thank you,
Thank you body for this movement,
Thank you,
Thank you deep breath for this feeling.
So just notice how it feels,
Notice how the gratitude can also be overwhelming,
Notice how your presence is truly felt in your body,
You know this body that can allow you to shake off your worries,
This body that allows you to move,
This body that allows you to remain still sometimes even when there's chaos outside,
This body you are connected to right now.
So just for a moment,
Just for a moment more here,
Just hold this thought,
This thought of perhaps some gratitude for the present moment,
In between two intrusive thoughts or in between two worries,
Just use this time,
The in-between seconds where everything fades away,
Use this time to catch a breath,
Use this time to be there for you,
Use this time to hold yourself dearly,
Shake everything else off,
With love and resilience,
Catch you up next time.
