Hi Resilient Sunshine!
Thank you so much for joining me for another mindful session.
Today we're going to explore our fears,
Our anxieties and how they can translate to something a little more exciting.
I invite you to sit or lay down in a comfortable position for you.
Whatever feels comfortable for you to be able to surrender to this present moment and allow yourself to focus on your breathing a little bit as the air comes in and out at your own time.
Right there,
Just at your own time.
This moment is a moment of reflection where we are invited to welcome our fears and connect with them and to do so I really would like you to be really comfortable with yourself in this moment.
Are your shoulders holding any tension?
Your neck perhaps?
Breathe in and breathe out through the tensions you notice.
Breathe in and breathe out through the tensions you notice within your neck.
Breathe in and breathe out through the tensions you notice in your shoulders.
Every time getting a little more relaxed than the moment before.
Is there any tension that you notice in your hips?
In and out of this tension.
Our body is a complex machine and perhaps we might notice that some feelings can give us mixed signals.
When I'm scared I notice some very powerful reactions in my body.
These reactions can be sweaty palms,
Can be a knot in my tummy,
Butterflies tingling,
Can feel my heart rates a little faster,
I can hear maybe my blood pumping in my ears,
Might feel flushed as well,
Feeling the heat warming up my cheeks,
The face one of course.
We associate this to fear but these feelings are also associated with so many other positive emotions.
Excitement for example,
Or when we fall in love,
How many times do we associate butterflies in our tummy with positive emotions?
Yet when we're scared we perceive them as something negative or something hindering us.
Could fear lead us to experience something really powerful and something really positive that could fuel our energy as opposed to holding us back?
Could it be that for one moment before you step on a stage,
Could it be that these feelings are your fuel and your superpower?
May these butterflies energize you because you are excited for this new opportunity.
And we mentioned a stage but it could be anything really,
It could be asking something from someone or doing something you're not used to do.
Can this fear become excitement?
Our body is already embodying these emotions,
Is already prepping you for it.
You can claim back your control over what can serve you.
Now sit with this excitement.
Can you be looking forward to this moment that generated fear or anxiety?
Can you get excited about it?
Can you take a moment to reflect on the positive that you'd get stepping into this fear,
Stepping into what scared you and looking forward to it?
As the knots transforms into butterflies superpowering you with sparkles of energy all around your body,
Starting with your tummy and spreading around,
Coming up to your truth instead of it feeling tight,
Instead of the words being stuck there,
Feeling the butterflies lifting them up,
Pushing them out.
The words that could not come out are now flowing with ease,
So looking forward to that moment gets you in a state of flow and a very contagious energy sharing this very powerful fuel to everyone around you.
Well wonderful sunshine,
You see here in this safe space everything is possible but outside your comfort zone things are possible too.
This is where growth happen,
Where change and transformation lift you up.
Embrace it,
Stop fighting it,
Fear is not your enemy,
It can be your best ally if you allow it.
So whenever you feel ready,
You can invite some movement back in your body,
Open your eyes,
Look around you,
Take a deep breath in and allow yourself to sit a little more with the shift in these emotions,
Practice it a little more,
Exploring a little more,
Have fun with it,
With love and resilience.
