And return to the wisdom of your breath.
Wherever your practice finds you today,
Just take a moment to arrive.
Find a comfortable seated position.
Sit up with a nice long spine and rest your hands gently on your knees.
If you feel safe to do so,
You can close your eyes or bring into a soft gaze.
And just start off with a deep inhale through the nose.
Gentle exhale out through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale and soften.
Exhale.
Let the shoulders drop.
Let the jaw unclench and let the body settle.
As you find your breath,
Feel yourself sinking into this relaxation,
Safety,
Awareness.
Notice the inhale entering and the exhale leaving.
No need to change anything.
Just observe.
Take note.
If the mind wanders,
Gently guide it back.
Back to the breath.
Back to the moment.
You are here.
Now gently begin to deepen your breath.
Inhale through the nose,
Feeling the chest expand.
Exhale slowly,
Letting the body soften.
With each inhale,
Drawing in light.
And with each exhale,
Release anything heavy.
Inhale,
Light.
Exhale,
Release.
Soft exhale.
Bring your attention or your awareness to your heart space.
Imagine a soft,
Warm glow there.
You may even want to place one hand over the heart.
With each inhale,
It grows brighter.
And with each exhale,
It's spread gently through your body.
Soundly repeat to yourself,
I am open to positivity.
Inhale,
I am open.
Exhale to positivity.
Let the words land softly,
No force,
Just openness.
Inhale,
I am open.
Exhale to positivity.
Inhale and exhale.
Keep breathing.
Allow your body to remain soft here.
Take one more breath in.
I am open and exhale to positivity.
Begin to return to your natural breath.
Notice the body stillness,
The quiet shift within you.
Take one deeper inhale and a slow exhale.
Gently wiggle the fingers,
Toes.
When you're ready,
Softly open your eyes.
Positivity is already within you.
