Welcome,
Beautiful soul.
I'm Miss Daisy,
Artist,
Yoga teacher and breath work guide.
This is a space to slow down,
Reconnect and return to the wisdom of your breath.
Wherever this practice finds you today,
Take a moment to arrive.
Feel the support beneath you.
Allow the body to soften.
Close the eyes or soften the gaze and clench the jaw.
Release the muscles in the face,
Forehead,
Eyebrow,
Cheeks.
Notice your breath as is.
Not changing anything.
Just noticing.
Just observing the rise and fall of the belly.
Feeling into the cool sensations of your inhales and the warmth of your exhales.
Take a slow inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale.
Release,
Letting go of any tightness or worry.
Imagine each exhale as a wave washing through your shoulders,
Chest and mind.
With every breath,
Remind yourself,
I am safe.
I'm here.
I am allowed to pause.
Now inhale slowly through the nose.
Inhale for four counts.
Hold for four counts.
And we're going to exhale for six counts.
Inhaling for two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Inhale for two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Inhale for two,
Three,
Four.
Hold two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale for two,
Three,
Four,
Five,
Six.
Now keep going.
Inhaling for four,
Holding for four,
And exhaling for six.
With each cycle,
Let the breath soften your body.
Let the mind settle.
Allowing your thoughts to go by like clouds in the sky,
Not focusing on any one thought,
Just observing.
Let the world slow down just for these last few minutes together here.
If worry arises,
Notice it.
And then gently return back to the rhythm of your breath.
We'll do a couple more rounds of this.
Gently breathe in.
Exhale through the nose.
With each inhale,
Gently say,
I am safe to feel.
And with each exhale,
Silently say,
I release what I cannot control.
Inhale.
I am safe to feel.
Exhale.
I release what I cannot control.
Let these words sink into the body.
Feel the quiet truth within.
You do not need to fight your anxiety.
You can meet it with softness,
With your breath and presence.
Take one more final deep inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Now bring yourself back to the body.
Notice your hands and feet.
And when you're ready,
Softly open the eyes.
Even today,
You are safe.
You are enough.
And you are here.
Namaste.
