Good morning and welcome to a brand new day.
I am so glad that you're here to breathe with me and enjoy a practice of uplift and energy expansion.
Today's practice is going to bring a little bit of intensity because we want to move that breath so we can awaken the cells in our body and create this uplift from within.
It's going to feel even better than your morning coffee and it may bring some sensations of hot cold temperature shifts.
You may feel a little bit of tingling.
You may feel some tightness in muscles.
As we breathe with a little bit of intensity we actually change the chemistry of our ph in our body which can cause some physical sensations.
If any of this feels too much know that you can either shake out those muscles,
Shake that body,
Or just come back to the natural breath and those sensations will subside.
Know that you have control of your practice and you can dictate any way that you want to make a change but I will be guiding you throughout so you can follow along.
For this practice we're going to do three rounds of 25 cycles of breath.
With each breath it's going to be an inhale through the nose and an exhale through the mouth bringing that intensity.
Really feel that breath move in the body.
Breathe in.
Allow that air to come into the body.
Exhale out.
Push it out.
Let it release.
We're going to do 25 continuous rounds and at the end of the 25 I will guide you into a hold at the top of the breath sipping in through the nose and holding squeezing and feeling that energy rise and expand.
When you're ready settle into your seat and just take a clearing breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
Find your place.
Notice where your heart is in the body and come into that central area to feel a little bit of control.
Maybe give yourself a little bit of acknowledgement and gratitude for feeling that heartbeat for coming into this brand new day ahead that has so much possibility and endless support.
Making sure that you feel supported with wherever you are seated.
And when you're ready let's begin the 25 breaths together.
Deep breath in and hold.
Squeezing that body letting that energy rise from within through the top of the head.
Holding steady feeling your center in your heart as you let that energy rise.
Letting that breath go.
Noticing how you feel now.
Feeling that clarity through the body through the heart through the mind.
When you're ready let's go for round number two.
Deep breath in and hold.
Squeezing that body squeezing the belly the heart.
Letting that energy shoot up feeling that alignment expand even more.
Stay rooted in the body.
And release.
Noticing how the sensations change in the body now.
You are the alchemist.
You get to make shifts in the body through the breath that create this expansion that create that aliveness in the cells.
Feel that aliveness.
And when you're ready let's go for our final round.
Final deep breath in and hold.
And noticing where you are now.
Noticing the power that you hold.
And from this space can you tap into your heart.
Can you tap into that expansiveness in your heart and create the space for intention.
Is there a feeling that you want to embody in this day ahead.
Knowing that you can always turn back to the breath and tune your awareness back to the heart.
Throughout the day you hold this power.
You steer the ship and honor the aliveness within you that you have created through this practice today.
