When you start to feel that afternoon slump and just need a little boost of energy to come back and stay in a state of focus,

This is the practice for you.

We're going to get you in and out so you can return back to your day quickly and effectively.

We're going to use the breath pattern called a blow breath.

This is more of a snapping of the belly.

Imagine you're blowing out a candle.

A cycle of this breath over and over,

Continuing to focus on the force of the exhale more so than the inhale.

Take it as you need,

Adjust the pressure,

Adjust the speed as you need to throughout,

And know that you can always return your presence to your breath.

Beginning this practice with an inhale through the nose and let that exhale begin the momentum for the cycle of the blow breath.

Beautiful.

Continuing this cycle,

Focusing on that pressing of the belly to blow that air out through the mouth.

Notice if there are any thoughts that we can release with the breath.

How can we continue to bring our awareness back to this present moment,

Back to each cycle of breath?

What does the body need to feel nourished through this practice?

Maybe there's a little bit of shaking or tapping or moving as you breathe.

As you get curious,

Continue to return the awareness back to the presence.

This is your time to be here with yourself.

We don't need to think about the other parts of the day.

Just returning back to the expansiveness in this moment.

There you go.

Continuing with this breath for another 30 seconds.

Embrace those moments of uncomfortability.

Those are moments to remind yourself that you are here,

Present and alive.

Taking a few more cycles of this breath for our last five seconds.

And releasing.

Coming into a hold at the top.

Inhaling through the nose.

Holding at the top and allowing the body and the muscles to squeeze.

Can you allow that energy to elevate and rise up through the body,

Bringing that attention to the top of the head?

Feeling that energy expand above and around you.

And releasing that hold when that feels complete to you.

Just letting the body settle.

Taking these last few moments to remind yourself that you can always return to this practice as you need to,

To calm the mind,

To bring focus back to the presence.

Release the thoughts that do not serve and move forward with your beautiful day ahead.

I am so grateful to have been part of this practice with you today and I hope to breathe again with you soon.
