For those moments you don't want to be so relaxed that you're about to fall sleep,
But you don't need to be bouncing off the walls with energy.
This is a grounded focus type of experience.
Imagine you have a dial in your mind.
You get to turn up or turn down the dial throughout this experience as you need to.
Intensify the breath.
Slow and soften the breath.
Let the body be the guide to what feels most nourishing.
We're going to use a breath that is a cyclical in through the nose,
Out through the mouth.
Let it flow into the next breath.
Something like this.
Again,
Bring intensity or softening at your pace.
If you need a boost of energy,
Bring more intensity to the inhales.
If you need a little bit of softening and calm,
Bring more length to the exhales.
You get to make it your own.
Choose your own adventure.
In whatever position you're in,
Feeling stable and present.
Let's begin with an inhale through the nose.
Exhale through the mouth.
Keep moving through that.
Beautiful work.
Find that wave and ride it.
Let it flow into the next breath and keep the awareness in the body.
If there are thoughts that want to come through,
Let them come through and release with the exhale.
This is your moment to be present with each breath.
Make it your own.
We'll be here for about 30 more seconds.
Tune into what you need.
What is the feeling you want to achieve and breathe into that?
If the body wants to move,
If the breath wants to bring sound with the exhales,
Let that come through.
Taking your final cycle of breath,
Let's move into a hold at the top.
Taking a full,
Deep inhale through the nose.
Sipping that last bit of air at the top and holding.
Inviting a squeeze if you want to.
Squeezing the muscles.
Letting that energy rise.
Bringing that awareness to that third eye.
And release the breath when that feels complete for you.
Coming into presence with the heart.
Can you send a moment of gratitude through the heart to yourself?
Think about where you started in this practice and think about where you are now.
Just a few moments of presence with the breath can shift your state completely and bring you into your desired state of being.
I honor you and thank you so much for joining me in this practice today and I hope to breathe again with you soon.
