Hello,
I'm Melina and I'm really glad you're here.
Take a seat in a quiet place.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or laying down,
Whatever feels best for you.
Take a moment to arrive fully in this moment.
It's completely okay if you can't relax right away or if you still feel somewhat stirred.
Just allow yourself to simply be here without any pressure.
Now,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out.
Feel how your belly and chest expand as you breathe in.
When you exhale,
Let go of everything you no longer need.
Stress,
Thoughts pulling your attention in all directions,
All of that no longer matters.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Exhaling through your nose and feel how with each exhale you release more and more of what weighs on you.
It's perfectly okay if your breath isn't even or if thoughts come to distract you.
That's completely normal and fine.
Your thoughts are a part of you but they do not define who you are.
Now,
Let's move through your body together to deepen your relaxation.
Start with your feet.
Become aware of what you feel there right now.
Maybe there's a slight tension or restlessness.
It's okay if it doesn't feel immediately right.
Just notice what you're feeling.
You don't need to change anything about it.
Now,
Take a few more deep breaths,
Exhaling through your nose and feel how with each exhale you release more and more of what weighs on you.
It's okay if it doesn't feel immediately right.
Remember,
It's not important whether you feel something or not.
It's enough just to observe and be here with yourself.
Feel how with every breath your belly and back soften more and more.
Allow yourself to let go of any tension.
You are safe.
You are allowed to release.
Now,
Focus your attention on your neck and shoulders.
Maybe you feel like you always have to do more or maybe you feel the need to hold yourself together to meet all the demands.
Maybe you can already feel the impact those strong words have on your body.
But you don't need to perform anymore.
You are allowed to simply be.
Take a deep breath in,
Gently tense your shoulders,
Hold the tension briefly and then release it completely with next exhale.
Feel your shoulders sink down and notice how your neck expands.
Notice how your neck expands.
Notice how your shoulders expand.
Imagine now that you're holding all these beliefs in your hand,
Beliefs that hold you back over and over again.
Maybe they feel as heavy as a handful of stones.
Now,
Imagine looking at yourself with the loving eyes of a good friend or a family member and you see your entire life path unfold before your eyes.
How you have always tried to give your best,
No matter what others or you yourself have said.
How,
Despite setbacks,
You've still been able to achieve so much.
So,
Are you sure you still need to carry those stones with you?
That they still belong to you?
That they are still true?
You now have the opportunity to lay down those stones.
You don't need to carry them any longer.
If you wish,
You can simply drop them or place them somewhere of your choice.
The beliefs that you carry,
Which feel as heavy as stones,
No longer serve you.
They are no longer necessary.
Because you have always been enough and you still are.
Your worth is not determined by how well you can concentrate or how quickly you can accomplish something.
Your worth is not determined by how well you can concentrate or how quickly you can accomplish something.
You and your full uniqueness make the world as wonderfully colorful as it is.
If it feels right for you,
You can now let a new phrase into your heart.
Choose your own words,
The ones that show you that they are your personal truth.
These words could be something like,
I am enough,
Just as I am.
Or,
I'm valuable,
Regardless of what I do or how fast I do it.
Or,
I deserve peace and rest.
Take all the time you need here.
And if you notice your thoughts drifting again,
Allow yourself to return.
It's completely okay if thoughts come.
They are there,
But they don't define who you are.
You are not your thoughts.
They come and go,
Just like clouds in the sky.
So,
Take a moment to thank yourself for your patience,
For your willingness to give yourself this moment of time.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Feel how your body feels now.
Maybe more relaxed,
Grounded,
Calm.
Or maybe different in some other way.
It's all okay.
You can always return here whenever you need.
Just remember,
You are enough and you always have been.
