Merrilyn is a multi-instrumentalist musician, composer/arranger and producer. To date she has produced ten albums. She is inspired by nature and its sounds, using these elements to create peaceful, calm and relaxing atmospheres. Her most recent works feature sounds from the Australian outback and waterways. Merrilyn is also known for her stream-of-consciousness music. Her studio is on the banks of the Darling/Baaka River, surrounded by river red gums and an abundance of native fauna. Merrilyn is planning more relaxation tracks on Insight Timer, for 2026.

Wowser! Love how you paint a picture before the sounds of the song begin! Thank you for sharing that beauty that surrounds you in your home…. Pelicans, kookaburra’s, etc…. Look forward to hearing and visualizing more! And I thought we had it all, here on Vancouver Island, BC with the eagles soaring and the oceans of whales….

What a most cool, playful interaction with the Kookaburras! I could just picture you sitting under a Kookaburras tree. (As a child, we use to sing a song at a 4-H Camp about a Kookaburra sitting in a tree, eating all the gumdrops he could see…. “Stop Kookaburras, save some there for me!”) Thank you for this treat with Kookaburras and the great memories it brought forth! 🙏
