Ocean

Ocean opens with the steady hush of rolling surf, a shoreline breathing in slow, calming waves. A sparse piano enters like light glinting across open water, each note spacious and unhurried. Gentle guitar adds warmth and drift before a soulful cello solo by Alison MacGregor rises — smooth, expressive, and shaped like a tide lifting and falling.

The whole track feels like standing at the edge of a vast blue horizon, letting the rhythm of the sea settle your mind.

This most beautiful piece took me back to my childhood. Our family spent lots of time on the coast of Washington at Kalaloch Beach. My mind was flooded with beauty……. Emotion took over, when I felt my Dad (once again) carry me out into the deep waters and lift me up just in the nick of time before the wave would’ve crashed down upon me! It was so thrilling, but at the same time I knew I was safe in his arms!!! Thank you for creating this piece which I will return to often!!!🙏
