Welcome dear friend,

Tonight we will journey to a sanctuary of healing,

A haven where the weight of the world melts away and only warmth and care remain.

This is your time,

A gift to yourself to rest and renew,

Begin by settling into your bed,

Maybe gathering duvets,

Cushions,

Letting its soft embrace cradle you,

Allow your body to become heavy,

Releasing all tension with each slow,

Gentle breath.

You are safe here,

Completely supported,

Just as you are,

As you gently close your eyes,

Notice the rise and the fall of your breath.

Each inhale brings in calm,

Each exhale carries away worry,

Feel the gentle rhythm,

Like the ebb and flow of a quiet tide,

Pulling you deeper into peace.

Together we'll step into a place where time slows and healing begins,

A place that belongs to you.

Imagine yourself standing on the edge of a sunlit meadow,

The late afternoon light is soft,

Golden,

A breeze drifts by,

Light and soothing,

Carrying the delicate scent of wildflowers and fresh grass.

The horizon feels open and endless,

Yet here in this moment you are cocooned in safety,

A stillness that feels like home.

As you take your first steps onto the path before you,

The ground beneath your feet feels steady,

Soft,

Like walking on moss,

Each step feels effortless,

Your body moving as gently as the breeze around you.

The meadow stretches out on either side,

The grass is swaying as though welcoming you,

There are whispers,

Soothing and kind.

Up ahead,

Nestled between low rolling hills,

Is a small cottage,

Its windows glow with a golden light,

Warm and immobile,

It feels as though the cottage has been waiting for you,

A place created just for your comfort,

For your healing.

With each step closer you feel lighter,

As if the air itself is helping to carry you forward.

When you reach the door,

It opens quietly,

As though sensing your arrival,

Inside,

The cottage feels alive with a gentle warmth,

As if it has wrapped you in an embrace.

The space is filled with soft,

Ambient light,

And every detail seems designed to bring you ease.

There is a chair by the fireplace,

Draped with a blanket,

That invites you to sit and rest.

As you settle into the chair,

Pulling the blanket around your shoulders,

You notice the gentle crackle of the fire,

Its glow is steady,

Soothing,

Radiating a warmth that reaches deep into your chest.

Around you,

There are small comforts,

A favourite book waiting on the table,

A steaming cup of herbal tea,

And the faint hum of a calming melody.

It's as though the cottage knows exactly what you need,

Offering it without asking.

You let out a soft sigh,

Your body sinking even deeper into the chair,

The weight you've been carrying begins to fade.

The cottage,

The warmth,

The gentle surroundings,

They are here to hold you,

To remind you that you don't have to carry it all alone.

There is no hurry,

No expectation,

The only thing that matters is your comfort,

Your rest.

The fire flickers and glows,

Casting gentle shadows on the walls,

Like a dance meant to lull you further into peace.

You notice how each breath feels softer now,

Moving effortlessly through your body,

As though the very air is imbued with healing.

You close your eyes for a moment,

And when you open them,

You find yourself gazing out of a window.

Beyond the glass is a night sky filled with stars,

Their light twinkling like a promise of renewal.

You feel a deep sense of connection to those stars,

As if they are watching over you,

Their presence steady and reassuring.

The breeze outside carries whispers of kindness,

As though the night itself is telling you you are safe,

You are loved,

Pulled over you like a second blanket,

Warming you.

As the fire begins to dim,

The warmth remains,

A steady gentle presence that mirrors the calm within you.

You feel your breaths growing slower,

Softer,

As though they are carrying you into the sweetest,

Most peaceful slumber.

The haven,

This sanctuary,

Is not just a place you visited,

It is a part of you.

It will always be here,

Waiting,

Whenever you need it.

The warmth of the cottage,

The glow of the fire,

The embrace of safety,

They belong to you,

Now and always.

With each beat of your heart,

You are reminded of your strength and your capacity for healing.

And as your thoughts soften into dreams,

You know that it is time to say goodnight,

Dear friend,

And may the light of the stars guide you into a new day filled with gentleness and hope.
