Hi there,

Thank you so much for joining me today,

Where we're going to take some time and settle into some stillness,

Giving ourselves a little bit of peace and calm,

Maybe some space to feel into things,

To allow emotions to come and go,

Try to find some focus or whatever you feel that you need to do.

We often feel uncomfortable in stillness and quiet,

We're so used to doing and busyness that coming into ourselves and allowing ourselves just to be is something that can feel challenging but that is so,

So important,

So settling your body,

Maybe lying yourself down or finding some back support,

Grounding yourself,

Getting yourself as comfortable as you can be,

Maybe allowing your eyes to drift closed and starting to come inwards,

Coming into your breath to start with,

Starting by taking a few conscious breaths,

In through your nose and out through your nose,

Trying to draw that breath a little lower if you can,

We're not forcing anything here,

Just allowing and taking your time with a few grounded breaths,

Feeling yourself supported by the ground,

By the surface that you're sitting or lying on,

And allowing yourself to feel safe enough,

And as we ease ourselves into this stillness,

Into this quiet,

Where we're going to give ourselves this space and this time for us,

Knowing that at any time if we feel uncomfortable,

This is your practice and your choice,

At any point you could open your eyes,

You could reach for something,

Anchor yourself by touching things around you,

By holding your own hand,

By coming back to your breath,

Anything else that you know brings you comfort and helps to ground you,

So allowing ourselves now,

This is your time,

And I'll be here with you the whole time,

So very,

Very gently,

Starting to come back,

Noticing any sensations in the body,

Maybe gently reaching out and touching things around you,

Taking a few breaths,

Maybe you can breathe a little deeper,

Maybe you find that emotions feelings,

Sensations have come up,

And knowing that you can take a little bit longer if you need,

And knowing that this is a practice you can come back to any time that you need to,

So starting to wriggle,

Stretch,

Yawn,

Maybe gently opening your eyes whenever you're ready,

And gently bringing yourself back into your space,

And continuing with your day,

Thank you so much for being with me today,

Take care and see you soon.
