Pausing for a moment and taking a deep breath.
Your breath is bringing you into this body,
Bringing awareness to how you feel.
Noticing any tension in your body,
Any parts of the body that would like more breath,
And simply directing your attention to those spaces.
Noticing the vibration of the earth beneath you,
That vibration of nature.
The earth is welcoming you to ground,
To grow roots,
To find stability here in the earth.
The earth welcomes you to open up a drain on the bottoms of your feet,
A drainage hole for anything that does not serve you.
Noticing where your breath is coming into your body.
Maybe you're inhaling at the points of tension or inhaling in the mind.
As you exhale,
Welcome what does not belong to flow down through your body and out those drainage holes,
Out your feet into the earth.
Taking three breaths,
Each time exhaling out the bottoms of your feet.
Welcoming this release.
Knowing that you can continue to release what does not serve you throughout the day.
