Finding yourself seated,
Balancing your sits bones on the earth,
Lifting up in your spine and finding a position in which every vertebrae is stacked upon the last,
Stacked in a way that your muscles don't have to work to hold you up.
The bones are holding you exactly as you are.
Chin is slightly tucked.
The tongue is loose.
The crown of the head is pulling upward into the sky and you find yourself taking some deep breaths.
Your breath is bringing your awareness into this body and into this now.
You find yourself listening,
Listening to a sound that is far,
Far away.
Listening for that bird in the Amazon.
Listening to the edge of the universe as the star implodes and you feel the stillness starting to take over your body.
Noticing that you are here in the now moment,
Present with what is.
Noticing that the past does not define the now.
Who you were 20 years ago is not the same person you are today.
Who you were yesterday is not who you are today.
The past doesn't have to define.
Noticing what you're holding on to for the future,
Your hopes and dreams,
Certain outcomes that you're juggling,
All the what-ifs.
And in this space of stillness,
We welcome you to soften your grip on the future.
The future is not set in stone.
And as we soften that grip,
The infinite possibilities start to flow in,
Bringing you again back into the now.
Today we focus on grace and patience.
We think about grace and patience as being an external facing energy of how we interact with the world around us.
But the core of grace and patience comes from within.
Turning inward towards your heart and connecting with yourself.
Noticing how you feel.
Noticing your own needs.
It's hard to be patient with others when your needs are not being met.
As you turn inward,
You might notice that you need a little bit more grounding.
That you've been up in your head thinking,
Considering,
Doing,
And we just need to be a little bit more grounded and stable and secure.
So we bring our breath to the tailbone.
The gentle inhale and exhale at the tailbone.
And you notice that your energy is building up at the tailbone.
We inhale,
Gathering all this energy at the tip of the tailbone.
And exhale,
Sending this white light down from the tailbone into the earth,
All the way down to the core of the earth.
With every exhaling breath,
Sending that light from your tailbone connecting downward all the way to the core of the earth.
And I'm seeing it as a straw.
You've dropped a straw down to that molten core.
And you're just gently drawing this earth energy up into your body.
You don't have to try very hard.
Just a simple drawing it upward,
Welcoming it upward.
There's a warmth to this grounded energy.
And that warmth is expanding throughout your body.
This energy reminds you that you are a physical being.
You have this physical body that is receiving all the building blocks of life from the earth.
Vitamins,
Minerals,
Stability and balance.
All of the support of the earth.
And that earth is always there supporting and holding you.
And we tune back into your heart,
Bringing your breath and awareness back to this heart.
Noticing how the vibration feels different now that you're grounded.
And we ask again,
What do you need?
What do you need for you?
And your heart is reminding us that when things get difficult,
We just need more options.
What we need is a vision of how things can change,
Of which way we can move.
Looking for options to test against our intuition,
To test against our gut.
So we bring our awareness up to the crown of your head,
Bringing your breath to the crown of your head.
And you're noticing that your breath is swirling in a clockwise pattern on the top of your head.
It's opening up your crown.
And from the top of your head,
You notice all of the energy from the universe there above you.
And as we open the crown of your head,
It forms a funnel shape.
This funnel shape is welcoming in all of this universal energy.
And it's just pouring down into you.
Feeling as the light of the sun and the moon and the stars funnels down into your crown and travels layer by layer through this body.
Bringing light into your cells.
This light carries excitement.
The light carries movement.
There's a lightness,
A levity flowing into your body.
Bringing potential energy and inspiration.
The ability to change.
And we bring your awareness back to your heart.
And you can feel that lightness,
A groundedness and a lightness mixing together here at the heart.
And we ask the question again,
What do you need?
What are your needs?
Feeling grounded and rooted,
Stable,
Balanced.
Feeling light,
Flowy.
Feeling the infinite potential around you.
And we tune into your heart to love and gratitude.
And we turn your compassion inward.
All of that compassion that we give to others that often becomes depleting.
And then we turn it towards you.
Feeling the compassion from yourself.
Feeling compassion towards what you are going through.
Feeling a gentleness with yourself.
A gentleness that life is going to flow.
And when we're gentle,
We can flow with it.
I'm getting the visual of a water slide that squiggles side to side and then it goes back up and around.
Some spots it's going fast and straight and other spots there are a lot of bumps and turns.
And there's the person who's holding on for dear life and trying to slow down and holding their body with a lot of tense muscles.
Trying to break along the way.
And then there's the person who's reckless,
Who's going down the water slide super fast and taking the sides pretty high.
Not sure if they're going to fly off of it.
And there's this invitation to simply go with the flow.
Simply flow and see where it takes you.
Becoming one with the water.
Becoming one with the slide.
Without fear.
Taking it one day at a time.
Being in the present moment with what is.
Grace and patience.
When we're in the present moment,
Patience means that we're not trying to run into the future.
We're just here now.
Patience means we're not judging the present moment on the past.
In order to be patient,
We let go of all the past judgments,
All the things that happened.
The logic that says,
If it happened once,
It'll happen again.
If he did this,
Then I need to do that.
Certain expectations of the future.
But patience is built into the present moment.
It's just a matter of being a moment with what is.
Without comparison.
Grace is a state of letting go of judgments.
And grace begins at home.
Within you.
When we can't give ourselves grace,
It's hard to give anyone else grace.
Grace is that beautiful feeling of letting go of the past.
Of not letting the past define you.
All of those judgments.
Judging good or bad.
Right or wrong.
Success or failure.
And grace lets go of that duality.
And just brings you back to what is.
Grace can be easy when we know that we're doing our best in every moment.
And our best looks different.
Sometimes our best is a huge success compared to anything you could have imagined.
And other times our best is getting out of bed in the morning.
Grace is knowing that it's all your best.
We're going to play with this energy at the edge of your field.
We have this vibration of grace and patience at your heart.
A groundedness and a lightness at your heart.
So we begin inhaling at your heart.
Empowering your heart through the inhale and exhale.
This gentle ebb and flow of breath at the heart.
That softens the edges.
And we're exhaling grace and patience.
Groundedness and lightness.
Exhaling it out through all the pores of your skin.
To fill up all the space around you.
And now not just your physical body is grounded and light and connected.
But your whole energy body is as well.
At the edge of your field,
We're applying patience to others.
And that patience does not hold any expectation.
That patience doesn't hold judgment.
What should be all the conditions.
Patience is again simply presence.
Noticing what is.
Noticing where they're at today in this moment.
Knowing that every day is different.
And the grace at the edge of your field.
Again,
Let's go of expectations and judgments.
Finding that the grace and the patience are also letting go of responsibility.
The grace and patience at the edge of your field.
Notice what is yours and what is not yours.
Identify where the edge of your field,
Where your energy ends and someone else's begins.
That you are not responsible for what others feel.
For what others want.
Someone else is having a hard day.
Grace is witnessing.
Not taking it on.
Grace and patience are fully engaged.
When you don't have to make your energy small.
You can be big and take up space.
You can engage with the world.
But staying true to the self.
Respecting the edge.
Respecting what is yours and what is not yours.
We fill your body with compassion.
Inhaling at the heart and exhaling compassion out of your heart.
And that compassion fills up every cell in your body.
That love and gratitude filling this body.
And then exhaling compassion out of the pores of your skin.
Filling up all of your space with compassion for you.
And compassion for what is not you.
Engaged but not owning.
Engaged but not judging.
Engaged but not expecting.
Completely present with what is.
Setting the intention that you will walk through life from this state of groundedness.
Connection to the light.
Having grace and patience for yourself.
And being completely present.
