Hello everyone and welcome to this quick five-minute meditation.

So please take a moment to pause,

To stop whatever you are doing and give yourself permission to take a break.

This is your time to stop,

To breathe and to find a moment of peace.

The goal here is very simple.

To stop,

Breathe deeply and let go of any tension.

So let's begin.

Find a quiet space where you can sit or lay down.

Close your eyes gently and begin to notice the sensations of your body.

Allow yourself to relax.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Feel your chest and belly expand as you breathe in.

Hold for just a moment at the top of your breath.

Now exhale slowly through your mouth,

Releasing any tension you may feel.

Let your shoulders drop,

Your face soften and your body begin to relax with the breath.

Take a few more deep breaths.

Inhale deeply again and exhale slowly.

Inhale deeply again and exhale slowly.

With every exhale let go of any stress,

Any worries.

You can imagine that everything is leaving your body with each breath out.

With next inhale bring your awareness to the present moment.

Right here,

Right now.

Nothing else matters.

There is nothing you need to do.

Let go of your to-do list,

Your thoughts about the past or future.

Simply be here in this moment.

Be here right now.

With every breath in,

Invite calmness into your body.

With every breath out,

Release any anxiety or stress.

Take one more deep breath and exhale slowly,

Feeling more relaxed and grounded.

And gently begin to bring your awareness back.

Wiggle your fingers and toes and very slowly and gently open your eyes.

You can notice how you feel right now,

How your body feels,

How your mind feels.

What's going on right now?

You're present,

Calm and ready to continue your day with peace.

You can thank you for taking these few moments for yourself.

And don't forget,

You can always come back to this breath anytime you need to take a breath and stop.
