Hello and welcome to Create Your Own Oasis Deep Breathing and Chakra Meditation.

Let's begin the practice by allowing your body to settle into a comfortable position.

You may close your eyes or keep them slightly open allowing the spine to lift and the shoulders to soften.

As we move into this practice you might take a moment to reflect on what it is you are thinking or feeling in the moment.

Simply notice them and remember thoughts and feelings they come and go like moving clouds.

Maybe you accept these thoughts and feelings without any judgment by simply noticing your breath.

Maybe you take note of your breathing patterns as you inhale through your nose and exhale with a sigh.

Today we will practice whole body breathing.

Both alert and relaxed begin by taking a full breath in and a long breath out.

Imagine this breath as a bright light entering your crown chakra,

The divinity of your being and nicely occupying every space that may feel tensed and tight.

Imagine this light consuming every anxious and unpleasant thought as you inhale life and exhale frustration.

Noticing the breath or this light allowing it to move your body as you inhale and as you exhale.

Recognizing there is no need to do anything in particular.

No need to control the breath.

Simply let it be.

Let the flow of this light transcend you into a place,

Your destined place of peace,

Relaxation and rest.

As you breathe in,

Imagine that your whole body is breathing in and the light is traveling to ensure that every chakra is privy to its glory.

Your third eye chakra,

The seat of your intuition,

May each breath bring clarity,

Discernment and strength.

Continue to inhale and exhale as your breath carries you to your throat chakra,

The seat of authentic communication.

Visualize the manifestation of your truth with every breath.

Next,

Allow the bright light,

The essence of breath to move into your heart chakra,

The place where love and vulnerability abide.

Remember,

This breath is carrying with it new life,

New strength and renewed love.

Keep breathing.

As you breathe in,

Imagine the bright light traveling up and down your spine to the base of your tailbone.

And perhaps this time you envision the breath visits the solar plexus chakra,

The essence of your personality.

How are you showing up in the world?

Imagine the breath,

This light freeing you to simply be who you were created to be without apology.

Don't you dare stop breathing now.

You are more than enough and more than capable keep breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Imagine sending this light anywhere in your body.

I invite you to do so wherever you need it.

Your sacral chakra is the manifestation of pleasure and desire.

Imagine your breath carrying boldness to declare and proclaim your ability to access things that bring you excitement.

What are you passionate about?

Visualize it and breathe life into it.

Finally,

Your root chakra,

The foundation and support system.

What do you see?

Allow the breath to ground you,

To support you.

You are safe.

You are grounded.

As we bring this practice to a pause,

If you find yourself in balance,

Scattered or distracted in any way,

Remember the power of your breath and come back to this practice of full body breathing.

Let's take a few cleansing breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Again,

In through your nose and out of your mouth.

One last time,

In through your nose and out of your mouth.

Thank you for taking out time to honor yourself with this practice.

May the breath,

This divine light,

Carry you into a blissful state of being today.
