Explore MeditationBorn in Hong Kong and raised in Japan, Kaye Freemans's playgrounds as a child were the local temples and shrines. Learning about Taoism and Buddhism from an early age she has continued informal studies through reading and lectures throughout her life. Freeman is primarily an artist, however her studies of ancient teachings and her practice of meditation has increasingly infiltrated her work. She began formal meditation study with daviji and in the last three years has graduated as a certified level three meditation teacher. Her practice is simple and down to earth and her ethos is based in how to find stillness as the world spins around us. Her development of a practical daily meditation practice is based in forgiveness, gratitude, compassion for ones self and being in the moment.
