Hello my friend and welcome to this meditation.
Find a comfortable seat.
Any position that will allow you to relax while remaining awake and present.
And once you've found that position Gently close your eyes or softly lower your gaze.
Take a grounding,
Deep breath in.
And exhale.
Take a moment to connect back with your body Notice any parts of your body that could use a bit of shifting or rearranging and take a moment to do so.
There's no perfect way to show up to a meditation.
The most important thing is that you give yourself the best chance.
Of being able to be fully present,
Even if that includes shifting,
Fidgeting,
Rearranging your body if it gets uncomfortable.
Once you're settled.
Take another deep breath in through your nose.
And release through your mouth.
Another deep breath in,
Inhaling steadiness.
And exhale releasing stagnant energy.
Give yourself permission to simply be.
And to settle into this moment.
My friend.
It's okay to move slowly.
As you consider what you'd like your future to look like.
Know that no matter how slowly you're moving towards that future,
The movement is taking place.
The only thing that will stop that movement.
As if we stopped moving.
The only thing that will prevent that future from being a reality is if we give up.
Moving slowly is still moving forward.
In the hard moments.
When you don't think you're seeing progress.
When you feel like Your motivation may have stalled out when you're unsure of why you're working towards that goal.
Reminding yourself that every little tiny movement you make,
Every one individual step,
Every aligned decision.
That is moving you closer and closer to where you want to be You're likely familiar with the phrase,
Slow and steady wins the race.
This is so relevant.
To almost every meaningful,
Important thing in life.
Most things worth having take time.
They take patience.
They take showing up for yourself again and again.
In even the smallest ways.
My friend,
I encourage you to consider something that you're working towards.
Whatever it is,
Big or small.
Imagine yourself in that moment after your vision has come to life.
And my friend,
I encourage you to think about.
What that same moment would look like.
If you quit in this moment.
If you gave up.
If you stopped moving forward no matter how slowly.
The time is going to pass anyway.
Show up in the way that will make the future you proud.
Time passes anyway.
Whether you're moving slowly towards this goal or you're taking large,
Quick leaps,
In five years.
The time's going to pass.
And moving forward in whatever way is going to be more impactful.
Than giving up.
Are waiting to begin.
Deep breath in.
And release.
I invite you to take the palm of your hand and put it on your heart.
You are here in this moment.
The same person,
The same heart.
Will be here one year,
Two years,
Five years from now.
But what will be different for you.
If you continue to move forward.
Slowly or quickly.
Towards whatever it is.
You're wishing for Final deep breath in.
And release.
I encourage you to journal on whatever came up for you today.
Anything that might be keeping you stuck.
Or anything that may have been motivating to you throughout this meditation.
Journal it and return to it.
So you can remember where you were on this day.
The progress you've made.
When you're ready.
Start to notice the sounds in the room around you.
A feeling of the seat beneath you.
Again,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes.
And when you're ready to return to your day.
Slowly open your eyes.
I see you.
I love you.
Until next time.
