Hello my friend,
And welcome to this meditation.
Settle into a comfortable seat,
And once you're situated,
Gently close your eyes or lower your gaze.
Let's take a deep breath in,
And exhale through your mouth.
Another deep breath in,
And release through your mouth.
Place your hands on your legs,
And feel the warmth of your legs up against the palms of your hands.
Gently drum your fingers on your legs,
Lifting them up and down.
Notice the sensation on your fingertips and your legs,
And relax your fingers.
Take your hand,
Hold it in front of your mouth,
And gently blow on your palm as if you're cooling your coffee or your tea.
Feel the coolness of the air on the palm of your hand.
Now blow on your palm,
As if you're trying to warm your hands.
See how warm you can get the air on your palm.
Again,
Blowing as if you're trying to cool down some coffee,
Noticing the cool air on your palm.
And one more time,
Blowing on your palm like you're trying to warm up your hands,
Feeling the warm air on your palm.
Now take that hand,
And put it on your heart.
Notice the warmth of your chest and the palm of your hand,
And if you're still enough,
You may be able to feel your beating heart beneath your palm.
Send yourself some love.
Take a deep breath in,
And exhale.
One more breath in,
One more exhale.
