Hello,
My friend.
And welcomed this meditation.
After you find a comfortable seat.
We'll begin with a deep breath in.
And exhale.
Welcome yourself into this moment.
Feel your body ease into stillness.
Notice your shoulders gently lower down from your ears.
The muscles in your face begin to relax.
There is nowhere you need to be.
Nothing you need to do.
Besides being right here.
Right now.
In this moment.
Breathe in.
And release.
As we breathe in again,
Begin to notice the sensation of the air.
Moving through your nose.
Down your throat.
Into your lungs causing your stomach to expand.
As we exhale,
Feel the air push out of your lungs,
Up through your throat.
And out your mouth.
Breathing in,
Noticing the temperature of the air as it enters your nostrils.
How the air is dry and cool.
Exhaling noticing the air is warm and moist as it leaves your mouth.
Another inhale.
Seeing what else you can notice about the sensation of breathing in And exhale,
Is there anything new you can notice about the air leaving your body?
Continue this breathing pattern for a few moments.
Focusing on the sensation of breathing in.
And breathing out.
Spending moments of stillness like this.
Helps us root down in who we are.
It strengthens us emotionally.
Physically.
Allows us to prepare.
Or in life make it bumpy.
Envision yourself as a great oak tree.
These trees seem like they are doing the least amount of work on the sunniest days.
It seems that their only job is to be.
It is not until you watch these trees survive through a storm that you realize those calm days.
Are where they are growing their roots.
Their strength.
Their ability to withstand the storm.
My friend it is in these small quiet moments that we are doing some of the most important work.
Give yourself the opportunity.
To sit in stillness,
To lay without an agenda,
To simply be.
To strengthen your roots.
To prepare for any storms ahead.
Deep breath in.
And release.
Thank yourself for showing up today.
For putting in the very important work.
Of simply being.
Slowly begin wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Bring your attention back to the space that you're in.
And when you're ready.
Slowly open your eyes and return to the rest of your day.
I see you I love you.
Until next time.
