Welcome,
Beautiful ones.
This is your Snacking on Goldsun meditation.
Short,
Sweet,
And yours.
Use it whenever a craving sneaks up,
Whenever an ache whispers not enough,
Whenever your mind starts spinning towards food to fix what hurts.
This is your little pause,
Your own quiet fuel.
No rules,
No perfection,
Just you,
A rose,
Some earth,
And a sun made of gold.
So let's begin.
Feel free to pause longer whenever it feels right.
Find a seat that feels good,
Maybe cross-legged,
Maybe legs out,
Maybe even lying down if your body says yes.
Stack your shoulders right over your hips,
Lengthen through your spine like someone's gently pulling a string from the front of your head.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze,
Whatever feels safe.
Now,
Picture a rose,
Your rose,
Any color,
Any size,
Looking at the shape,
The texture,
And bring it right into the center of your head.
That spot just above your eyebrows,
And you can find it by drawing a straight line back along the line between your ears,
And that's home,
Your space of equanimity.
And let the rose bloom there,
And now let it work.
You can use it like a cosmic vacuum cleaner.
Anything heavy,
Anything loud,
Judgments,
Old stories,
I shouldn't have eaten that,
I'm not enough.
Suck it in,
And let the petals pull it out.
Use the rose like a vacuum,
No force,
Just release.
And when the rose is full,
You can bring it out,
You can light it up,
Lighting it on fire,
Or maybe tossing a tiny bomb at it.
Watch it burst into sparkles,
Into nothing,
Gone,
Completely gone.
Now,
Feel the base of your spine,
Where tailbone meets earth,
And imagine a cord there,
Soft and strong,
And drop it down,
Plugging it into the center of the planet.
Let anything left,
Any jitter,
Any ache,
Slide out through that cord.
The earth takes it,
She recycles it,
She doesn't judge.
If you want,
You can also snap the cord and build a whole new one,
Fresh,
Clean,
And yours.
And now breathe up,
And pull that warm,
Steady earth energy up through the cord,
Into your feet,
Your knees,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your belly,
And feel yourself rooted and held.
And then here comes your gold sun,
And let it float just above your crown,
Like a lantern that's waiting for you.
Start filling it.
What do you need right now?
Self-love,
Courage,
Rest,
A little playfulness,
Divine softness,
Curiosity,
Whatever whispers yes,
And keep pouring it in.
Keep going,
And keep going,
And filling,
Filling this sun with everything that you need,
And let it grow brighter,
Warmer,
Let it hum.
You're welcome to pause,
And continue to fill as much as you need.
And when it feels full,
When your whole head feels like it's glowing,
Then pop a little hole in the bottom of the sun,
And let that golden light pour down through your scalp,
Down your neck,
Into your shoulders,
Your chest,
Your belly,
Right where that craving usually sits.
And let it flood and permeate every cell,
Every thought,
Every little hollow space.
This is your snack,
Your snack of gold suns.
This is your fuel.
No wrappers,
No guilt,
Just enough.
Breathe it in,
Let it ripple out through your aura,
Like warm honey on your skin.
And when it slows,
And when you feel full,
Soften your heart with a smile.
Soften your gaze with a smile,
Just a little.
That smile says,
I fed myself,
I am here.
And you can do this any time,
Any time,
When the not-enough voice creeps in,
When your head reaches for food before your heart remembers,
Pause,
Rose,
Earth,
Sun.
You don't need anything outside.
You are your own guide,
Your own light,
Your own rose.
And whenever you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
No rush.
You've got this.
And hey,
If it helps,
Say it out loud.
I am enough,
And I've got enough.
Because you really do.
