Hello and welcome to this gentle inner child healing meditation.
Find a comfortable position,
Sitting or lying down.
When you're ready,
Softly close your eyes.
Take a deep,
Slow breath.
Gentle breath in.
.
.
And out.
Letting go.
Again,
Breathing in.
And softly breathing out.
Letting your body become heavy and relaxed.
With each exhale,
Release any tension.
Your shoulders,
Your jaw,
Your heart,
Your chest.
Even your hands.
Let everything soften.
Now.
Imagine yourself in a beautiful safe place.
Somewhere that feels warm and cozy and peaceful.
Maybe it's a sunlit meadow.
Or a beautiful peach.
Or maybe you're under a beautiful big tree You're completely safe here.
From this peaceful place.
Invite your younger self.
To come and to sit with you.
There's no pressure.
She can show up as a little girl or a teenager.
Or however she wants to appear today.
Just be open.
When she arrives.
Look at her with soft eyes.
Let her know that you are here.
Speak to her gently from your heart.
I see you.
I'm here now.
You are safe with me.
I'm so sorry it took me this long to find you.
From now on,
I've got you.
Notice how she feels.
Is she happy?
Is she sad?
Is she scared?
Is she playful?
Whatever she brings,
It's okay.
Just witness her with compassion and curiosity.
If she wants to tell you something.
Listen.
If she wants to play,
Play with her.
If she wants to sit quietly with you,
That's perfect too.
Place your hand on your heart and send her love.
Tell her.
You don't have to be good to be loved.
You don't have to please anyone to be safe.
You are enough,
Exactly as you are.
Stay with her as long as it feels good.
Let her know that you will come back to visit her often.
And when you're ready.
Take a few.
Beautifully nourishing breaths.
Wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
And gently open your eyes.
Beautiful work.
Every time you connect with her.
You're healing the root.
Of any discomfort that arose.
And you're allowing yourself to reclaim your energy.
And be at peace.
