Hello and welcome.
No rush.
Just settle wherever you are.
The floor,
A chair,
Your bed.
Eyes closed if that feels good.
Let's start with your breath.
So picture it like warm honey.
Thick,
Slow and golden.
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
Like you're fogging up a mirror.
And again,
In and out.
Notice how it feels.
Is it cool at the tip?
Warm in your chest?
Stuck anywhere?
That's totally fine.
We're not chasing perfection.
Just watching.
Now,
Bring one hand to your belly.
Feel it rise and feel it fall.
That's your kapha.
That earth,
Steady like roots under soil.
If you're ghata today,
Let it flutter like leaves in wind.
Pitta,
Let it glow.
Warm like sun on your skin on a hot summer day.
No fixing.
Just noticing.
Just being with what is.
And then slide your hand up to your heart.
Feel the beat of your heart.
Slow and steady.
Feel into the pulsations.
Any tightness.
Breathe into it.
Imagine honey dripping over the knots and softening and melting.
Let your shoulders drop.
Roll them forward.
Roll them back.
Roll them forward and roll them back.
One circle.
Two circle.
Like stirring a pot of tea.
Slow with no force.
Just motion.
And now the other side.
Bring your arms wide out like wings.
Inhale.
Lift them a little.
And then exhale.
And let them sink.
Again,
Lifting.
And then sinking.
And feel your ribs expand like doors opening.
Now,
Curl your fingers in.
Then open them.
Like you're catching raindrops.
Curling them in and curling them out.
Feel your palms tingle.
That's prana.
Life moving through you.
Your life force energy.
Saturating your entire body.
Let your head tilt.
Right ear to shoulder.
And then left.
Easy.
Like you're listening to something far away.
And then back to your center.
And just noticing.
Noticing without judgment.
Judgment.
One last breath.
Deep.
Slow.
In.
Honey down your throat.
Out.
All the way.
Rest your hands on your chest.
Say,
Quiet or out loud,
I am.
And whenever you are ready,
You can open your eyes.
And thank you for breathing with me.
What a treat.
