My name is Jenny.
And this is a bite-sized breath practice called Breath of Orbit.
A beautiful breath practice for a little grounding,
A bit of connection to body and a moment of focus and perhaps peace when you need it.
Find yourself a comfortable seated position.
Bring your eyes to a close.
And let's begin.
Inviting a softness,
A stillness into your body relaxing the jaw and the shoulders Feeling the ground underneath you.
And just starting to listen to your breath.
Noticing what sensations are present,
Whether it's in the body,
Whether it's energy or emotion that's here Taking a few breaths to welcome in and to settle into whatever state is here with you today is landing in your body just as you are.
Now I invite you to tune in to your spine.
Becoming aware of the base of your spine and all the way up to the neck,
Even the crown of the head and gently bring your awareness with your breath into your spinous you inhale,
Feel your breath travel up the front of the body from base of the spine to crown of the head As you exhale,
Feel your breath melt down the back of the spine and just set up this gentle connection,
Breath and spine inhales traveling from root to crown.
And exhales melting from crown of the head back down to a room.
Really explore that journey for a few more moments Inhales traveling up.
Exhales melting down.
And feeling that connection from base of the spine to crown of the head to take a full inhale through the nose gently home.
Top it up with a gentle sniff.
Let it melt with the sun.
Alright,
Let's add some counts.
Starting the breath at the base of the spine,
Breathe in up the front of the body for 4,
3,
2,
Hold at the crown of the head,
4,
3,
2,
Breathe out down the back,
4,
3,
2,
Hold at the base of the spine,
4,
3,
2,
Breathe up up the front,
Four,
Through the belly,
Through the heart,
Throat,
Face,
Hold at the crown of the head,
Three,
Two,
Out down the back,
Four,
Three,
Two,
Let it melt,
Let it hold,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One more together,
Inhale at the front of the body,
Hold at the crown of the head.
Breathe out down the back four.
3 too.
Hold at the base.
3,
2,
Keep going Inhaling up the front of the body for four… lightly holding for 4 Gently breathing out for four.
.
.
And holding for four.
And keep playing with this journey,
Breathing in,
Holding,
Out,
Holding.
And feeling your breath as you count.
Move through the spine and the body like light.
And as we allow the breath to move,
To orbit,
To clear I want you to see how slowly You can do this,
Maybe counting to five or six.
Maybe more,
Maybe less.
Fully experiencing that journey and possibility.
Of your breath as you count.
I am present.
I am experiencing.
And most of all,
I am playing.
Keep orbiting.
Keep going.
As we take a final few cycles.
Maybe really experiencing the feeling in the base of the spine.
A feeling of grounding,
Of home,
Of safety.
Maybe feeling that connection to the crown of the head is I am awake.
I am open to receiving.
I am connected to all that's out there for me to receive.
I am safe.
In my base,
I am.
Connected and open in my crown.
And I am alive in my body.
After your next cycle,
Take a full breath in with me from base to crown of head.
Holding at the top.
Expand it further take a little sniff and let it go with a sigh.
Thank you so much for joining.
Wherever you are in the world,
Wherever you are orbiting your birth from,
I'm really grateful for you.
Keep showing up,
Let me know where you are in the world,
And I hope to see you very soon.
