It can sometimes be a little daunting coming out of hibernation and starting a new chapter in our lives. This meditation will help you to honour your transition out of hibernation and feel secure as you begin your new adventure.

Welcome to the soul growth sessions,

A place to nurture your soul and awaken your potential.

This meditation is for anyone who feels like a part of their life has been on pause for a while.

It can sometimes be a little daunting coming out of hibernation and starting a new chapter in our lives.

This meditation will help you to honor your transition out of hibernation and feel secure as you begin your new adventure.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Whatever feels right for you,

Sitting or lying down.

And when you're ready,

Gently close your eyes and begin to turn your attention inwards,

Tuning in to the sensations of your breath,

Allowing you to feel more present within your body.

Breathing in fully and deeply,

Letting go easily on the exhale,

Giving yourself permission to relax.

Feeling ready to journey deeper,

You find yourself deep within cozy winter den,

Surrounded by darkness and warmth.

You have been safely hibernating,

Sleeping soundly through the long winter months,

Gathering your strength.

Your body is relaxed and your spirit is peaceful.

Your surroundings are quiet and still.

You feel a large,

Warm presence and steady heartbeat beside you.

You notice a bear spirit guardian has been with you,

Keeping you safe as you rested throughout the winter.

As the winter begins to fade away and the first signs of spring appear,

You feel a stirring within you.

A new chapter in your life is calling to you.

It is time to emerge from your hibernation and awaken to the new season in your life.

You slowly emerge from your den with your guardian bear by your side,

Both stepping out into the fresh spring air,

The world around you is coming to life,

The buds appearing on trees and flowers beginning to bloom.

You feel a sense of renewal within you,

As if anything is possible.

Take a few deep breaths of the fresh air around you,

Filling your lungs with energy.

Notice how your body feels as you stand in the sunshine,

Soaking up the warmth and the light.

As you take in the sights and sounds of the new season,

You take the time to set an intention for this new chapter in your life.

Dreams or goals are waiting for you to join them.

Visualize yourself taking the first steps towards your intention.

Although your first steps may feel a little clumsy,

Slow or you know this is only temporary,

You can take all the time you need to find your bearings after your long,

Restful slumber.

Knowing that with every step you take,

You feel more confident and empowered with each passing day.

Knowing you will soon feel yourself moving with grace and ease,

Able to rise up and overcome any challenges along the way.

Take a few more deep breaths,

Feeling the energy and excitement of the new season pulsing through your body.

That you are ready to emerge from your hibernation now and step into the fullness of life again.

Feeling the strong,

Steady heartbeat of your guardian bear by your side,

Reminding you it's okay to take your time.

Now feeling ready to return from your time here.

Next inhale,

Take a full deep breath,

Feeling your stomach and rib cage expanding all the way.

And when you're ready,

Exhale with a sigh,

Fully letting go.

Feeling the changes that have taken place,

Feeling them integrate within you.

Feeling grounded in the present moment,

Ready to take this energy back with you into your daily life.

Ready to return to your surroundings now,

Feeling the points of contact between you and the surface in which you are resting.

Slowly bringing your awareness back to your surroundings,

Feeling the air on your skin,

Gently moving your body,

Taking your time.

And when you feel ready to gently open your eyes,

Aware of the world around you,

Remembering you can come back and experience this practice as often as you like.
