40 minutes of Yoga Nidra, live recorded at Shanti Lanka Ashram, Chacahua. An embodied experience from simply being, observing leatherback turtles hatching from the beach, and their mother returning every full moon.

Shanti Find a comfortable position to lie down in Savasana,
Allowing your whole body to be settled,
To be grounded on the mat,
On the earth that you're lying on.
And before we start our yoga nidra,
We're going to stretch our body a little bit by extending our arms above our head.
Take a deep inhale,
Deep,
Deep stretch,
Extending your fingertips and your toes.
Bring both arms and legs pointing at the sky.
Tense it up,
Tense,
Tense,
Tense,
And release.
Bring your hip up,
Tense,
Tense,
Tense,
And release.
And your chest,
Tense,
Tense,
Tense,
And release.
Squeeze.
Squeezing your face as tight as if you just eat a sour lemon.
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
Squeeze,
And relax.
Open your mouth,
Open your eyes,
Stretch out your tongues,
And tense,
Tense,

And relax.

Once again,
Allowing your whole body,
Your whole body to relax.
And in between your eyebrows,
Repeat it after me.
I'm practicing yoga nidra.
I'm not going to fall asleep.

And for the next couple of minutes,
I want to be with myself.
I want to appreciate my whole body.
And my whole body is relaxed.
Gently soften your eye glaze,
Relaxing your facial muscles,
Shoulder away from your ears,
Feeling the contact point behind the back of your head,
On the mat,
Your neck,
The back of your shoulder blade,
Your arm,
Your upper back,
Along the spine to your lower back,
Your hip,
Your legs,
The back of your knee,
And your ankle.
The whole back of your body is grounded on the mat.
Your whole back of your body is relaxed.
And to continue on the yoga nidra,
I'm going to name different parts of your body.
And when I name it,
Simply notice what you're noticing.
Noticing if there's any emotions coming up,
Name and acknowledge it.
You don't have to move any part of your body.
Just be aware and awake.
Starting from your right hand,
Each and every fingers on your right hand,
Your right thumb,
Index finger,
Middle,
Fourth,
And your right pinky,
Your right wrist,
Right arm,
Right elbow,
Right shoulder,
Right chest,
Your whole right torso,
Right hip,
Right thigh,

Visualizing your whole right body is relaxed and growing roots down to the ground,
Expanding to your left foot,
Each and every toes on your left foot,

Left calf,
Left knee,
Left hamstring and thigh,

Your abdomen,

Bring your awareness in between your eyebrow centre and look over to the top of your head as we take a deep inhale in through our nose and exhale out.
Be aware of deep breathing and count 10 breath.
Feeling the breath coming through your nostril,
Filling up your chest,
Your lungs and your belly and pushing it out on every exhale.
Expanding your lungs and your abdomen and deflating it out,
Lifting your chest off the ground and sinking it,
Pressing it down back to the ground Breathing in,
You're here,
Breathing out,
You're here.
Be aware of your own breathing and the movement of your body visualising how your body creates waves and tides keep having and flowing Breathing in effortless and breathing out effortless Breathing in the pleasure of the pleasant moment and breathing out being present deepening the prana and vital force of the life force as you breathe in to your nose,
Through your spine sending blue colour along your spine on every breath imagining this blue colour as soothing and calming Continuing bring your awareness in between your eyebrows as you breathe in to your nose sending that blue colour along your fursyblades fursyblades by fursyblades breathing in blue and exhaling out take your time to go along your spine and keep breathing in and breathing out on every breath reminding yourself you're doing yoga nidra and I'm going to stay awake sending blue colour down my spine fursyblades by fursyblades and through the spine sending this blue colour to all the knotty points all the way down to your root chakra to where we could activate our kundalini be aware of deep breathing deepening the prana along the spine fursyblades by fursyblades keep breathing in and out sending blue colour down your fursyblades to your root chakra visualising a radiating blue star between your root chakra and that blue star is rising up from the bottom of your root chakra up the spine to between your forehead filling up your whole body this radiating blue star is shining shooting up from your root chakra up your spine to your forehead filling up your whole body travelling into your whole body with your breath you have a body shining with blue,
Blue light reminding yourself to keep following my voice that we are practicing yoga nidra that you want to be with yourself and appreciate your body mind and soul your body is fully relaxed and you are awake continuing on your effortless breathing and bring in some heat and fire energy to your root chakra feeling your whole hip is grounded underneath the mat,
The soil through the tiara of the earth going through all the layers and layers down to the core of the earth feeling the heartbeat from your root chakra feeling the heartbeat coming in and out as your root chakra keep going down and down deeper to the earth to the heartbeat of the earth and through the underground cave we are arriving into the side of this beach with the tides coming in and out in and out the tide slowly coming in touching your little toes turning your toes into orange glowing color as the water keeps washing up to your ankle to your calf to your knee even though this water might feel like cold cold icy cold but this unpleasant is not going to destroy you keep breathing allowing this icy snow water to wash up your hip and out washing up to your abdomen and out washing up to your chest and out washing up to your shoulder and out covering your whole arm in snow icy water your neck and your face your whole body is in an icy cold plunge your whole body is relaxed in this cold plunge and this unpleasant is not going to destroy you your whole body is relaxed in this cold plunge by the side of a glacial fat river snow-capped mountain take a deep breath in and out seeing all this orange maple leaves falling down on your body covering your whole body with orange maple leaves as your whole body is in this cold plunge of water floating and relaxed and slowly your whole body is so light your whole body is lift up by this volume of water your whole body is so light and transcend above a floating log over an ocean of lava your body is floating you're safe and protected you're surrounded by this heated lava allowing all your toxic to be evaporated from your body all the negativity all that doesn't belong to you anymore evaporating from your body letting go all the fear letting go all the attachment as they evaporate up into water vapour into this ocean of lava and you're protected by your sacred solar chakra keep breathing in and out allowing the heat around you to rekindle your acne to rekindle your fire on your abdomen your inner fire is so hot it's burning out it's lighting up your whole body as you're glowing and shining in this lava cave your whole body is so bright that you light up the entire sky your whole body is glowing floating and so light that you've been carried away by the wind your whole body is dancing and moving along with the wind allowing your chest your heart to be pulled up to the sky as you dance along with the wind keep moving and dancing shifting this colour of green in the wind shifting this green colour of wind around your hand and let it dance around your body as we lift our heart high up to the sky allowing the wind to go underneath your armpit and over from the other side your neck in front of your hip and behind your back underneath your legs and around and just simply enjoy moving and dancing with the wind with this green colour of wind and keep dancing and floating and allow ourselves slowly arriving to this spring garden full of flowers continuously blossoming in unlimited number and timelessly you feel the fresh air of this garden your whole body is laying down on this wet abundance moist grass allowing ferns to wrap around your whole body and you become part of the nature you become part of the space you transcend into Sachi Ananda and be a witness of what happening around you and do not react of whatever comes your whole body is relaxed and you are Sachi Ananda and in between your eyebrows centre breathing in to your forehead and allowing your whole body to be surrounded and wrapped around and held by this glory light of purple you are held by this glory light of purple with nothing attached to you there is nothing no ego no self image no self limitation no self sabotaging you are Sachi Ananda allowing this purple light to go through your blood and veins along your whole body as we climb up this mountain step by step breath by breath you see nothing around you you see nothing around you you see exposure but you are safe your whole body is relaxed in this exposure your whole body is safe in this exposure acknowledge to the fear that come knocking to the door of your heart say hi to this fear offer them a cup of chai tea and allow fear to leave your heart with that cup of chai tea you are safe you are protected you are loved and on every protection that you passed you see this purple light around you and you are safe protected and loved you have nothing attached to you you are Sachi Ananda you are enough you are practicing yoga nidra your whole body is relaxed and you are awake this unpleasantness is not going to destroy you your whole body is light relaxed and protected by this purple glory light na punam dam punam udashate punasha punam udaya punam ida fashishate om shanti shanti shantihi breathe slowly be aware of your surrounding bring back some movement to your toes to your fingers gently turn your neck side to side allowing your hands to just touch and feel the surrounding and bring your body and mind back to here bring your palms to your heart centre rub your palms and bring this energy back to your face to
