Hello and welcome to this meditation for connecting with and balancing your root chakra.
Find a quiet and comfortable place where you can sit or lie down,
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to relax.
Begin by focusing on your breath.
Take slow,
Deep breaths in and out,
Feeling the sensation of the breath entering and leaving your body.
Allow your breath to become slow and steady.
Connect your attention to the base of your spine,
Where the root chakra is located.
Visualise a vibrant,
Glowing red light here.
Imagine this light growing brighter with each breath,
Filling your root chakra with warmth and energy.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your awareness to the physical sensations in your body.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort,
And imagine the red light from your root chakra gently dissolving and releasing any stagnant energy or negativity stored there.
As you release tension and negative energy,
Imagine a sense of stability and grounding spreading throughout your body.
Visualise roots growing from your tailbone deep into the earth,
Anchoring you securely to the ground.
Stay with this visualisation and continue to breathe deeply for a few more moments,
Allowing the energy of the root chakra to flow freely and bring a sense of balance and stability to your entire being.
When you feel ready,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Gently open your eyes and take a moment to reflect on your experience.
Note down any thoughts,
Feelings,
Observations or ideas that came to you.
