Hello and welcome,
Today we're going to do a meditation and try and find you some inspiration.
Close your eyes if you can,
Take a few deep breaths,
Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Do this a couple more times and allow your body to relax and your mind to become calm.
Here's a space for you today to leave everything else behind,
Just for a few moments.
It's safe for you to relax here.
Imagine that you're walking on a beautiful path through a serene forest.
Can you feel the path beneath your feet?
The Sun is filtering through the trees,
Casting a warm glow on your surroundings and it's warm on your arms and when it catches your face you can hear the gentle rustling of leaves and the soothing sound of a nearby stream.
Up above are birds,
Fluttering insects and as you continue walking you notice a clearing up ahead.
You step into the clearing and find yourself in a stunning meadow filled with colourful wildflowers.
The sky is deep blue overhead and you can smell the honey scent of all the flowers drifting through the air towards you.
In the centre of the meadow there's a blanket and a cushion to sit on.
Waiting there for you is a person that you know.
This might be somebody you've known before in your real life or it might be a person who just feels so familiar to you,
A guide,
An angel.
Whoever it is,
They're wise and compassionate and they're smiling at you.
Approach your guide and greet them warmly.
They take your hand and you sit down beside them and they smile and they welcome you,
Radiating a sense of comfort and understanding.
This is someone who knows exactly what you're feeling.
Sit with him a moment and allow all the feelings of self-doubt,
Of lack of inspiration,
All your worries to come out.
You don't have to put words to them,
You don't have to think of proper sentences,
Just allow those feelings to emanate out from you and give them to your guide.
Know that they're listening,
They're hearing everything you say,
Everything you feel.
They're here to offer you support and guidance and wisdom and encouragement.
And in this safe place here,
I invite you to listen and see what your guide wants you to know.
Do they have anything to share with you?
They'll remind you of your inherent strength,
Your creativity that's always there,
And your resilience.
Feel what else they want to share with you.
As they communicate with you,
You can feel inspiration and motivation beginning to flow through you again,
Reigniting your passion and your drive,
Understanding that creativity comes in ebbs and flows,
Highs and lows.
As your conversation with your guide comes to a close,
They hold out their hand to you and present you with a special gift.
Feel it sit in the palm of your hand.
Feel the weight of it and the texture.
This gift represents the insights and courage and clarity that you've gained from this experience.
Accept the gift with gratitude,
Knowing that you can carry it with you as a source of inspiration and guidance.
Know that it's time to return.
Thank your guide for their presence and support.
Take a final look around the beautiful meadow.
Soak up those feelings of peace and renewal.
When you're ready,
Stand up and stretch and begin to retrace your steps back through the forest.
As you walk,
Notice how you feel lighter,
More inspired and ready to embrace the opportunities that await you.
Gradually bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Take a deep breath.
Receive yourself back into your body.
Gently open your eyes whenever you're ready.
Remember that the gift of inspiration and guidance you received is always within you,
Ready to be accessed whenever you need it.
Sit quietly for a moment,
Reflect on your experience.
Maybe make notes of anything that came up for you and set an intention to carry this sense of inspiration and motivation with you throughout your day.
