Hello everyone.

Today our teaching is about the crescent moon.

Perfect planning because by tomorrow we will actually be able to see a waxing crescent moon in the night sky.

What are the origins of the crescent moon and the spiritual power?

Have you ever noticed how the crescent moon seems to whisper secrets in the night sky?

This beautiful slender arc of light isn't just a pretty phase,

It's a symbol steeped in ancient wisdom and spiritual transformation.

What are the origins of the crescent moon?

Across cultures we find the Septamians,

The Egyptians.

Here the crescent moon was linked to the goddess Sin and also Isis,

Representing fertility,

Intuition and also the perfect rhythm of life.

In Greek and Roman mythology we find it associated with Artemis and Diana.

Here the moon symbolized protection,

Independence and also feminine strength.

And then we have the Islamic tradition where the crescent became a sacred emblem,

Marking time and spiritual cycles in the lunar calendar.

And now we move on to Africa and the indigenous cultures.

The moon's phases guided planting,

Rituals and also storytelling,

Honoring the connection between earth and the cosmos.

What are the spiritual uses and symbolism of the waxing crescent moon?

This is a time for intention setting,

New beginnings and also for planting seeds.

Energetically it's a perfect time for launching new projects or rituals of manifestation.

And then we get to the waxing crescent moon.

This is a phase of release,

Reflection and surrender.

It's ideal for letting go,

Cleansing and also preparing for renewal.

Feminine energy,

Beautiful feminine energy.

The crescent moon channels divine feminine energy,

Divine feminine wisdom as well,

Intuition,

Creativity and a lot of emotional depth.

You can use the crescent moon during your ritual work.

Here we think candle magic,

Journaling or crystal healing.

If you're doing crystal healing,

Consider possibly using stones that have the feminine energy,

For example,

Moonstone or fluorite to amplify and clarify spiritual growth.

Try this at the next crescent moon.

Light a white or a silver candle,

Hold a crystal aligned with lunar energy.

Speak your intention aloud under the crescent moon,

Whether it's to begin,

To release or to simply listen.

Let the moon be your mirror.

Don't you think that's beautiful?

What phase are you in?
