Hello,
My name is Anna Marie from Heavenly Healing.
Welcome to my Letting Go meditation.
Letting go of anything that no longer serves you.
I want you to begin by finding a comfortable seated position with your spine tall and your hands resting gently on your lap.
Close your eyes softly and take a few deep breaths to center yourself in this present moment.
As you breathe,
Allow yourself to become aware of any tension or holding in your body.
With each exhale,
Consciously release any tightness,
Consciously release any resistance,
Allowing your body to soften and to relax.
Now bring to mind something in your life that you're holding on to,
Whether it's a worry,
A regret or a fear.
Visualize this burden as a heavy weight that you've been carrying with you.
As you continue to breathe,
Imagine gathering up this weight in your hand.
Feel its heaviness,
Its solidity.
Notice how it weighs you down.
Notice how it restricts your movement.
With each exhale,
Allow yourself to release your grip on this weight,
Letting it slip through your fingers like grains of sand.
Visualize it falling away from you,
Disappearing into the distance.
As you let go,
Affirm to yourself,
I release what no longer serves me.
I surrender to the flow of life.
I trust in the process of letting go.
With each breath,
Feel a sense of lightness and freedom washing over you.
Notice how much space you've created within yourself by simply releasing this burden.
Now,
Now bring your awareness to the present moment.
Notice the sensations in your body,
The sounds in your environment and the rhythm of your breath.
In this moment of letting go,
Allow yourself to be fully present,
Fully alive.
Know that you are not defined by your past or your worries about the future.
You are here,
Now and simply in this moment.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Savoring the feeling of release and liberation.
Allow yourself to be at peace with whatever arises,
Knowing that you have the strength and the resilience to navigate life's challenges.
With a deep breath in,
Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.
Slowly wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Give yourself a nice deep stretch and when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Thank yourself for taking this time to practice letting go.
I want you to carry the sense of spaciousness and freedom that you've cultivated with you throughout the rest of your day.
