What happens when an ADHD brain meets mindfulness? In this video, we'll explore how mindfulness helps us develop awareness of where our attention is in each moment. Through simple practice, we learn to recognize distraction, reconnect with the present moment, and gently guide our attention back. Over time, this process can support greater focus, self-understanding, and regulation. Welcome.

To this caring space.

We are going to talk about how ADHD works.

And mindfulness.

Work so well together.

So if you've watched some of my previous videos,

You're now aware that actually you can enter mindfulness if you are ADHD,

If you have an ADHD.

Through your senses.

So once you've practiced that a couple times,

You've probably enjoyed the experience of mindfulness itself.

And slowly but surely,

You're going to be able to build.

More steady practice.

And notice that every time.

.

.

Your mind drifts.

Which is.

Absolutely normal.

In mindfulness.

It is just how the brain works.

Thoughts?

But then.

You develop the ability to notice.

When there is a thought,

Like a little cloud in the sky.

You let it pass and you come back.

Through your senses.

As this is going to be your anchor.

There are other angers that we can talk about in another video.

Um The thing is.

The beauty of this is that by enabling your ability to notice.

You will also enable your Ability.

And acknowledge when your attention is directed.

And by doing that.

You will be able to.

Re-put your attention exactly where you want.

So this is how it's gonna help you regulate.

Your attention.

Because by being aware that your attention is going away.

You are also able to bring it back.

Where you want it to be.

I hope that this video was helpful.

And don't hesitate in maybe taking my course,

It's an audio course,

But taking my course about the experience of mindfulness which can be a truly transformative journey if you have an ADHD mind like I do and like you may do too.
