There you are,

You lovable being.

You made it.

You choose yourself for this very moment.

And that's already amazing on its own.

You've shown up for yourself today.

You can be proud.

Now,

To start this short meditation,

Let's take one long,

Deep breath in,

Hold,

And exhale through your mouth.

Let's do it one more time.

Fill your lungs as much as you can.

Hold,

And exhale through your mouth.

That's it.

Do you feel the calm settling in?

Gravity doing its thing?

Grounding you a little bit more with every exhale?

Maybe there's even a tiny smile shaping at the corner of your lips?

Every step you take shapes the path of your happiness.

And right now,

You took one more.

No matter what is happening in your life at the moment,

No matter the struggles you're facing,

No matter how hard it is,

You did it.

You still pressed play and chose the present moment instead.

Look at you,

Going for it,

Paving this road toward happiness.

Let's take a couple more deep breaths.

But this time,

I would like to cherish this idea that you're stepping up,

That you're brave,

That you're lovable,

That you're strong,

That you're worth it,

And wonderfully resilient.

Remember,

Your breath will always be there as an anchor.

You can always rely on this soothing,

Continuous movement of your chest to get back to the only moment that matters,

The present moment.

Before ending this meditation,

Take one last deep breath in,

And exhale everything else you don't need.
