Come to a comfortable seated position.
Allowing your eyes to close.
And just noticing your breathing.
Moving any part of your body you need to to feel comfortable.
Pushing your shoulders gently down away from your ears.
And noticing any tight areas in your body.
Bringing your attention completely into your body.
Completely into your mind.
And relaxing.
Taking a big deep breath in through your nose and a big deep breath out through your mouth.
Noticing on your inhales your chest expanding.
Your tummy expanding.
Your side body expanding.
And noticing with your exhales your whole body pushing down to the mat or to the floor.
Relaxing through your face.
Your eyes,
Your cheekbones,
Relax through your jaw.
Bringing your tongue away from the roof of your mouth.
And just allowing your whole body to feel calm,
Relaxed and at ease.
Allowing your breath to find its natural rhythm.
Breathing in through your nose and breathing out through your mouth.
We're going to go on a journey.
We're going to imagine in our minds looking at a mountain range.
Just standing in a meadow.
Noticing the area around you.
Noticing the tall soft green grass.
And as you gaze forward,
Just gazing up to your mountain.
Noticing the shapes.
Noticing the lines it's creating.
And just noticing its whole landscape.
Does your mountain have trees?
Does your mountain have little animal tracks trailing all the way up to the top?
Noticing the colours.
Green trees,
Grey or brown bits of rock.
Noticing the colour of the sky.
Is it a blue sky or is it grey and cloudy or misty?
Noticing the clouds above your mountain.
And then just noticing the sun leaning down.
You're feeling warmth from the sun.
But the sun is also casting shadows on your mountain.
Noticing if they're long shadows.
Noticing if they're short.
Are there any animals on your mountain?
Do you have any mountain goats?
Do you have any little rabbits running around?
Maybe some mountain deer?
Looking at the birds,
Are there any birds flying around?
And just noticing as you're standing there,
A gentle breeze blowing on your body.
You're feeling incredibly small against this massive tall mountain.
This mountain is just rooted,
Grounding down into the earth.
And you're just allowing your thoughts to pass.
Noticing the smells around you.
Fresh green air from your meadow.
Fresh mountain air.
And you're just allowing your whole body to feel completely relaxed,
Completely calm.
Just noticing the tiny things around you.
Noticing each blade of grass.
And how small that piece of grass is compared to your mountain that you're gazing up at.
Noticing each tree that is on your mountain.
And just noticing how calm,
Heavy and relaxed your body feels.
And knowing you can come back to here whenever you need to.
As you slowly start to wake up,
Wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes.
Bringing the sensation back into your body.
Just stretching a yawn or hugging knees to your chest.
Keeping your eyes closed,
One big deep breath in through your nose.
And one big deep breath out through your mouth.
Bringing your hands into prayer position.
And stay.
