Coming to a comfortable seated position or laying down.
Allowing your eyes to close.
And just allowing your breath to find its natural rhythm.
Scanning your body for any tight areas.
Sending your thoughts towards those areas.
And just releasing with every exhale.
Allowing your thoughts to drift away.
And feeling completely calm,
Completely relaxed.
And completely at ease with your body.
Slowly starting to relax from the soles of your feet.
And working all the way up your body.
Releasing every muscle.
Releasing every bone as you go.
With every inhale saying to yourself,
Let.
And with every exhale saying to yourself,
Go.
Just allowing your breath to become easy.
Inhaling and exhaling.
As you bring your awareness completely into your mind.
Imagine yourself walking.
Walking in a field.
You notice some trees.
There's a gentle breeze blowing.
The sun beaming down on you.
Feeling warmth from the sun.
Then you slowly walk through the trees,
Noticing the colours around you.
Noticing the greens of the leaves.
The browns of the tree bark.
The blue skies.
White fluffy clouds.
And you're just feeling peaceful and calm.
Walking slowly,
Putting one foot in front of the other.
Allowing your whole body to relax.
And then you walk through your trees a bit further.
You come to a clearing.
You see that it is a meadow.
Tall green grass blowing in the gentle breeze.
Seeing pretty white or wild flowers.
Noticing the colours of the flowers.
The whites,
Pinks,
Purples,
Blues.
All the different colours of the wildflowers.
You're feeling a bit tired from your walk.
You just sit down in the grass.
You're just looking around the meadow.
Noticing what you can see.
Different tall grasses.
Different colours of the grass.
Different thicknesses of the grass.
Noticing the smells.
Noticing the sounds.
The sounds of the birds.
Sounds of the crickets.
Sounds of the rustling of the grasses from the breeze.
When you come to your seated area,
You take off your shoes.
You can just feel the soft silky grass underneath your feet.
You run your hands through the grass.
All the while feeling calm,
Relaxed and heavy.
You're just watching the world go by.
Watching the little birds flit around.
Watching a little ladybird fly onto the leaf next to you.
Noticing the spots on her back.
Noticing the colour of her back.
Just noticing how she spreads her wings and flies off.
You follow her with your gaze for a bit.
And then she flies off.
Bringing your gaze back to the meadow.
Noticing the tall grasses.
The smells of the grass.
The smells of the flowers.
Noticing the sky.
The wispy white clouds above you.
And as you gaze further into the meadow,
You see a deer just eating the grass.
As she just gazes up at you.
Tail swishing gives you a gentle nod and carries on eating the grass.
Noticing how you're feeling.
How the warm sun feels on your body.
How the grass feels on your feet and your fingers.
Noticing the smells.
And just feeling completely calm,
Completely relaxed in your meadow.
Taking one big deep breath in of fresh air and one big deep breath out.
As you slowly start to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
Bring the sensation back into your body.
Have a stretch and a yawn.
Or hugging knees to your chest.
Folding onto your right side when you're ready.
And push up to a comfortable seated position.
Taking one big deep breath in through your nose and one big deep breath out through your mouth.
Bringing your hands into prayer position.
