Come to a comfortable seated position.
Pushing your shoulders down away from your ears.
Allowing your eyes to close.
Gently breathing.
Noticing any areas of tightness.
And just sending your thoughts towards those areas to release them.
Bringing your attention completely into your body and into your mind.
With every inhale saying to yourself let and with every exhale saying to yourself go.
And just beginning to relax your breathing.
Slowly starting to have longer exhales than your inhales.
Maybe counting to 3 or 4 on your inhales and 5 or 6 on your exhales.
Allowing your thoughts to drift away.
And just feeling completely calm,
Completely relaxed and completely at ease with your body.
Slowly starting to relax from the soles of your feet.
And just working all the way up your body.
Stopping at any area you need to just to give it extra attention.
As you begin to feel fully relaxed.
And let your breath find its natural rhythm.
Noticing with your inhales,
Your chest,
Your tummy,
Your side body expanding.
And noticing with your exhales,
Your tummy deflating.
Your whole body relaxing.
As you begin to bring your mind into your body.
Imagine that you are in a safe,
Comfortable room.
And it is just a dark,
Calming room.
Imagine there are a few candles in front of you.
Just gazing your attention towards those candles.
You're noticing the gentle flickers of the warm light on the wall.
Seeing the flames dancing.
You're feeling completely calm and completely relaxed as you watch these beautiful flickers in front of you.
Just noticing the shadows on the walls it's creating.
The flickers and the colours around you.
And you turn your gaze to the actual flame of the candle.
Looking at the soft light it's creating.
Looking at the shape of that flame.
Just looking at how it's moving in the gentle breeze of your breath.
Just noticing what the shape of your candle is.
What size your candle is.
What colour it is.
And as your candle is gently burning.
Just watching the hot wax dripping down the sides of your candle.
Gently melting away your stresses and taking away the tension and pain you're holding in your body.
You're feeling the gentle flow of your relaxation flowing through your body.
You're noticing that the wax is melting becoming softer.
Noticing how your body becomes softer.
Noticing with every exhale.
Your breath just blowing that gentle flame.
Noticing how it flickers and the shadows it's creating on the wall behind it.
Bringing your attention back to the melted wax.
Just trickling down the candle and pooling in the bottom.
Seeing it slowly overflowing from the top of your candle.
With each little drip releasing your stress.
Releasing your tightness and tension again in your body.
Noticing your whole body melting and relaxing with every breath.
Noticing the colours around you gazing into your flame.
Still noticing the flickering and what colours can you see.
And when you are ready to come out of your relaxation taking a big deep breath in through your nose.
And a big deep breath out through your mouth blowing out your candle.
Slowly starting to bring your awareness back into your body.
Wiggling your fingers,
Wiggling your toes.
Bringing the sensation back.
Having a stretch and a yawn or hugging knees to your chest.
Slowly rolling onto your right side resting your head on your arm.
And pushing up to a comfortable seated position.
Keeping your eyes closed one big deep breath in through your nose.
And one big deep breath out.
Bringing your hands into prayer position.
