Hi,

Nick Mann here with another meditation specifically designed for your body and your mind.

Today's meditation is a special candle meditation.

I invite you to find your favorite candle or one that's available and light it now.

See the flame flicker and take your posture.

Primordial fire has now been lit.

Bring your attention to the candle flame.

Draw in a long slow breath through your nose and as you exhale out your mouth let the busyness of your day drop away.

That's it.

For more cleansing breaths in through the nose,

Out through the mouth and again draw in another long slow deep breath.

Pull it all the way down to your belly and as you breathe out sink comfortably into your posture.

Your back straight,

Your shoulders dropping away from your ears.

Place a hint of a smile on your lips as you gaze into this candle flame.

Let yourself be smooth,

Soft and serene.

Allow your breath to come and go as it will naturally while keeping your focus on the candle flame.

Hear my words and let them go.

Just be aware of the guidance and the frequency but not the words themselves.

Gaze softly at the flame,

Dear one.

Gaze softly at the flame and as you continue to do so if you feel you are starting to stare ever so gently blink your eyes and they will refocus.

Keep your gaze softly on the candle light.

Allow your mind to the thoughts enter your mind to just be there but like these words let them drift by the candle.

As you softly gaze at this flame you will notice thoughts do come to your mind.

Just allow them to be there.

Return your attention to the flame.

It takes time for the mind to quiet so do not push thoughts away.

Do not resist them.

Just pay them no attention and they will pass.

The candle never become discouraged if your mind is busy and do not beat yourself up if you find it difficult to stay focused.

When your mind is influenced or carried away by a thought bring it gently but firmly back to the flame.

The candle flickers.

Continue to gaze gently at this fire keeping awareness here.

Remain aware of the light of the heat.

Remain focused,

Concentrated.

The flame flickers.

The flame flickers.

Remain focused,

Concentrated and aware.

Gazing at the flame.

The flame flickers.

Thoughts passing unattached.

The light of the candle fills your consciousness.

Lightly staring into this flame you see everything.

The flame flickers.

Gazing at this candle feel your inner light relit.

Gazing at this candle feel its warmth begin to flow from your solar plexus into the rest of your body.

May the sacred fire bless you with the return of your light,

Your power and your meditation.

May this light serve to warm your soul,

Restoke your fire and bring your meditation practice full.

And the flame flickers.

Soft gaze.

Now gently withdraw your gaze from the flame.

Perhaps close your eyes and see the resonance.

Feeling warm,

Accomplish and now bring your consciousness back into the room you are in.

Place your hands on your heart and give thanks for having been able to spend this time in meditation.

Perhaps slowly roll your head from side to side or give your body a nice stretch as you come back to full waking consciousness.

And when you're ready take a deep clearing and cleansing breath.

That's it.

You have now completed this candle meditation.

Thank you for spending this time with me.

And I hope today's meditation will enhance your life just as it has mine.

Gaze into the light dear one.

Remember your fire.

Remember your warmth.

And here,

The meditation man signing off for now.

Namaste.
