Reiki Symbol Meditation

This is a Reiki-infused meditation. We will explore the 3 basic symbols of Usui Reiki. Cho Ku Rei, Sei Hei Ki, and Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen, also known as the Power symbol, the Harmony symbol, and the Distance symbol. This meditation is great for those who have received their Reiki Level 2 attunement and Reiki Masters who want to charge up their practice by spending time in the frequency of each of these powerful symbols.
By becoming their frequency you learn to not just DO Reiki but to BECOME Reiki

Hello there,

Nick Mann here,

Ready and excited to join you for another meditation.

Today's meditation will be a Reiki symbol meditation.

This meditation will tap you deeper into your practice of Reiki.

Let us find healing today of Reiki and the symbol.

First,

Go ahead and tend to your environment.

You will want to see yourself undisturbed for the next few minutes,

So make sure you have your privacy.

Find your comfortable position,

Whether that's in a chair,

On a cushion,

Or even laying down.

That's it.

Find your posture.

Now,

However you find yourself sitting or laying,

Bring your hands together in prayer position.

This is one of the pillars of Reiki,

Known as gassho,

Or hands together.

Take in a nice deep breath,

Keeping your hands together.

Just breathe at a rhythm that is comfortable for you.

Now affirm out loud that you are open to receiving the Reiki today.

Your attention to go to where your middle fingers are touching.

Perhaps imagine you are holding a rose petal between them and just breathe as the vibration of Reiki visits you now.

Here you are,

Hands together in gassho,

Open to receiving Reiki.

Feel the life force energy within you,

Pulsations,

The rhythm.

Reiki to visit your vessel.

Allow it to fill you up until your entire body is full with the vibration of Reiki.

Having your hands together enables you to achieve this effortlessly.

You,

As you are here,

Seated or lying down,

Hands in gassho,

Full of Reiki.

The symbols can visit.

The first symbol that comes to visit you today is chokurei.

Intone this three times.

Chokurei,

Chokurei,

Chokurei.

And as you do this,

Visualize a chokurei appear above your head.

Feel it cascade down.

Chokurei is the power symbol.

Feel it cascade down from above your head to your shoulders and your arms.

Flows down into your torso all the way to your root chakra.

And as it does,

Your feet chakra open up and Reiki flows into your legs and feet.

Feel the blessings and the strength of this chokurei comes with the power of earth.

Breathe here in gassho.

Chokurei above your head,

Breathing in harmony with the earth.

Chokurei brings with it a strong life force,

Giving you power,

Strength.

Chokurei is here to empower you,

To enliven your physical body,

Your cells,

Your atom.

This chokurei rains down upon you now and you feel emboldened,

Stronger,

Reserves of courage coming forth.

The symbol brings you home into your body.

Keep breathing here.

Each breath,

A celebration of the life force you are as the chokurei rains down upon you.

Intone this symbol three more times.

Chokurei,

Chokurei,

Chokurei.

And see it dissipate,

Leaving you refreshed,

Recharged,

Empowered.

Next,

The symbol of seiheki appears above your head.

See it there now.

Intone it three times to bring it in fully.

Seiheki,

Seiheki,

Seiheki.

Feel it wash over you.

Seiheki comes to you with the power of an adaptability.

Seiheki comes to wash you clean,

To mental emotional balance like never before.

Allow yourself to sense the differences between the earth energy of chokurei,

Smooth silky energy of seiheki.

Seiheki,

Where chokurei brought us to earth,

Seiheki takes us to the heavens.

Feel your body lightening as seiheki washes over you.

Allow any emotion to surface and be released,

Tears to fall if they come.

This is the symbol where we catch ourselves,

Where we tend to ourselves,

Where we heal our emotional body.

Be here in gassho,

Hands together,

And allow seiheki to wash over you.

Feel emotional balance inside,

Internally feeling soothed as seiheki flows through you like a river to your head,

To your head,

Your shoulders,

And your arms,

Down through your torso and heart space,

Washing you clean to your hips,

Your legs,

And all the way to your feet.

Just breathe here,

Allow the reiki in,

And in tone three more times,

Seiheki,

Seiheki,

Seiheki.

Seiheki,

As you do this,

Your emotional body and state will be restored,

Your emotional intelligence and flow state returning to you and your heart.

Breathe here,

Seiheki above you,

Glowing,

Flowing,

And lending you its energy.

Allow that image of that symbol to fade,

Leaving a residual effect over your entire being as you have now visited the earth key of shokure and the heavenly key of seiheki.

You are prepared for the third symbol,

Hands still together,

Allowing the circuit of life force to be complete within you.

The third symbol appears,

Hanshase shonen,

The symbol of oneness.

You immediately feel this in your heart as this is a symbol that reminds you we are all connected.

This is a symbol that connects your heart to the heartbeat of humanity,

To the heartbeat of the animal kingdom,

The oceans,

The earth,

The stars,

And the sky.

In tone it three times now to call it in full,

Hanshase shonen,

Hanshase shonen,

Hanshase shonen.

As you do this,

Feel a sense of deep peace settle over you.

Here you are in the web of life.

Each of your actions can affect the entire world and we utilize hanshase shonen for a feeling of oneness and healing,

Healing of the web of humanity,

Healing of the complex tapestry of this world,

Healing of the stars and the sky.

This symbol you are taking radical self-responsibility from a place of deep compassion and wisdom.

See the world healing and healed.

See your fellow man and woman healing and healed.

And as hanshase shonen rains down upon you,

You realize as you see the planet healing,

The community healing,

You are healing.

This is the power of hanshase shonen,

A oneness with everyone.

Feel your heart.

Feel hanshase shonen go to your heart.

Allow your compassionate healing to spread to the building,

To the streets,

To the trees,

To the mountain,

To the sky.

You may weep for mother earth.

You may beam your most unconditional love to every sentient being and become one hanshase shonen,

Oneness.

Breathe here in gassho as this symbol rains down upon you and opens your heart.

Now allow that image to fade.

You have now walked through the three basic symbols of a sui reiki.

Take note of how you feel.

Reiki translates to universal life force energy.

As you experience today,

Reiki is about tuning to different frequencies.

As you allow the different symbols to show you their vibration,

You literally tune to that frequency and become a vessel for that energy.

Here in gassho,

I invite you to put a small smile on your lips.

You've done so great today.

Your practice will be strengthened because of this meditation.

So as we close,

Just breathe and receive reiki flowing to you,

Through you,

And all around you.

With the power of shokurei and the earth seihei ki and the waters hanshase shonen and the cosmos.

Sometimes the universe sends you a message and finding this meditation in my recommended list was one of those times.

I have been a Reiki Master for many years, but it isn’t something I have actively practiced for a long time. I haven’t even done a practice on myself for years. Over the last few days I’ve kept having a recurring thought that I should go back and start working with Reiki again. Then, today this practice popped up in my suggestions list.
