Hello there,
This is Nick Mann here and I'm so excited to bring you a meditation that is specially designed just for teachers.
That's right,
This is just for you.
Dear teachers,
For all you do for others,
I would like you to get comfortable now.
You may be seated or lying down for this meditation.
This meditation signifies utmost gratitude for you,
For what you do every day.
So please,
Get comfortable now.
You deserve it.
As teachers,
We come from love and we love teaching.
But sometimes we can struggle,
Feeling like maybe we are not enough.
You may feel unimportant,
Unsupported,
Or perhaps underappreciated.
But I am here to let you know I have created this meditation because you are important.
I want this meditation to allow you to feel supported and overappreciated.
So I am going to say some affirmations now that are specifically designed for teachers.
These can help you create a positive mindset and give you extra energy as you meet your day.
This meditation and these affirmations are here when you need a pick me up.
So let's begin.
Now that you are comfortable,
Take in a nice deep breath and exhale.
Very good.
Now just breathe at a rhythm that is comfortable for you.
You're doing great.
Allow these affirmations to penetrate deep into your psyche,
Washing over you from your subconscious to your conscious.
We bless you now.
You may repeat the affirmations out loud,
In your mind,
Or just listen.
This is just for you.
Thank you,
Dear teacher.
Here we go.
I am not.
It is okay to feel the way I feel.
I am not.
I believe in myself.
I believe in my abilities as a teacher.
I am always doing the best that I can.
I am in the right place,
Meant to be a teacher.
I am a competent and capable teacher.
I am competent in my abilities.
I am a valuable asset to my school,
A valuable asset to my district,
And a valuable asset to my community.
I have a powerful gift and something important to share.
I am a dedicated champion.
I make my classroom great.
My students make my classroom great.
Together,
We create magic.
I make a difference in my students' lives.
The work I do every single day matters.
I see each student as an individual.
I am creative.
It is okay to stray from the lesson plan.
I am flexible.
It is okay to have fun at school.
It is okay for the kids to be kids.
I love my students.
My students love me.
I am a better teacher because of my students.
My students are better humans because of me.
I make a positive difference in my students' lives.
I am important.
I matter.
I am amazing and fully prepared to succeed.
And lastly,
I am damn proud to be a teacher.
Great job.
Put a smile on your face now and a nice deep breath in.
A long exhale out.
That's it.
Now just breathe comfortably as these affirmations go to your subconscious and psyche.
This meditation is here for you when times are tough so you may recall how powerful you are,
How wonderful you are,
And how appreciated you are.
It has been my honor to join you in this meditation,
Dear teachers of the world.
Thank you sincerely for your transmission of wisdom,
Of lessons,
Of kindness and love with deepest gratitude.
May you meet the day with even keel,
With even keel,
A great disposition and joy.
Because you know what?
You're a teacher and you got it.
This is Nick Mann,
The Meditation Man,
Signing off now.
Until next time,
Namaste.
