Hi everyone,
And thank you so much for joining me for this inner peace mantra meditation The mantra we will be using today is Aum Shanti Aum Aum Shanti Aum Translates to peace in body,
Peace in mind,
Or peace be with you The key to using mantras during meditation is to really focus on the syllables and the vibrations that it causes throughout the entire body So if you feel comfortable,
I encourage you to chant along with me when it's time And if you don't that's okay,
Too Listening to the mantras is just as powerful as chanting them yourself As you get comfortable,
Let's begin by taking a few deep breaths together Taking a deep breath in through the nose And holding at the top for just a few seconds Before you exhale and release a soft sigh through the mouth Taking two more breaths together like this Inhaling through the nose Pausing at the top And exhaling through the mouth One more time Breathing in deeply through the nose Pausing at the top And exhaling through the mouth Now as you let the breath return to its natural rhythm,
Take a moment to settle into the body Grounding down into the sit bones Feeling the connection to whatever's underneath you Extending through the crown of your head And sitting up nice and straight You do not need to force or change anything Just breathing in and out through the nose Feeling more and more relaxed with each breath Letting the shoulders Rest away from the ears Relaxing the jaw and all the tiny muscles of the face Taking a moment to just arrive in this space Letting go of all there is to do And just breathing in and out through the nose Using your inhales to invite fresh new prana or oxygen into the body And using your exhales to release any tension or stress Gently bringing your awareness to your heart center As you take a moment to appreciate all that it does for you I invite you to bring to mind An area of your life that you feel like may be lacking peace Maybe it's physical,
Mental,
