Hi everyone and thank you so much for joining me to share in this moment of the breath together.
Once you find yourself in a comfortable position gently close down the eyes and turn your attention inward to the breath.
Take a nice deep inhale through the nose,
Pause at the top and exhale slowly through the nose.
Let's do this two more times,
Breathing in through the nose,
Pausing at the top of the breath and exhaling slowly through the nose.
One more time,
Inhaling through the nose,
Pausing at the top and exhaling nice and slow.
Now let your breath return to its natural rhythm and I want you to ask yourself where is your body breathing from the most?
Do you feel your breath in the chest,
In the stomach,
In your back,
The neck,
The shoulders,
Your toes?
There's no right or wrong answer,
I just want you to focus on where your body is breathing from and I want you to see if you can feel the breath a little bit deeper in the body now.
Can you feel the breath in your muscles,
In the tissues,
In the cells of your body?
Remembering that our breath is our life force and take a moment to just sit with the body and let it breathe and gently placing a hand over your heart,
Taking a moment to just feel your heart beat within your chest and give yourself thanks for taking this moment out of your day.
And when you're ready,
Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes,
Flutter your eyes open and take a deep breath in and out.
