Hello and welcome to Betrayal Alchemy,
Session 6.
Here we get into Stage 3,
The Stage of Separation,
The Alchemy of Release.
Before we begin this session,
I do want to offer a brief note.
This session is a cord-cutting meditation.
We will be working with the symbolic image of a blade,
Not as a weapon,
But as a sacred tool of release.
This visualization represents an energetic separation,
Not a physical harm in any way.
If at any time the imagery here feels too intense,
Simply return your focus to your breath and the feeling of the ground beneath you.
You are always safe and you are always in control of your own experience.
We have moved through calcination and dissolution,
Through the fires that burn away illusion and the water that softens what remains.
Now that we arrive at separation,
The third stage of alchemy,
We discern what is truly ours to carry and what must finally be set free.
I call this meditation the Blade of Separation,
And I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
And close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and slowly let it go.
Feel your body resting on the earth beneath you.
Feel the solid,
Steady,
And aliveness of the ground holding you.
Let your body settle into its natural rhythm.
This meditation begins where we left off with dissolution.
You imagine yourself beside the waters that you emerged from in the last session,
And as I count down from five to one,
I invite you to feel that surface beneath you,
That glass-like reflection,
A mirror of your own becoming,
The waters that were holding you so completely.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
And cast yourself out onto the bank,
Feeling the cool ground beneath your feet and the air crisp all around you.
You gaze at your reflection in the water and you begin to notice something new.
There are fine,
Shimmering threads stretching from your body,
From your chest,
Your hands,
Your back,
Weaving around you and outwardly into the world,
Expanding in all directions,
Shimmering threads.
You look for the beginning and the end,
Unable to find it.
Some trail back into the depths of the water.
Others reach towards the forest behind you.
Some dissolve into the air.
They connect you to people,
Memories,
Places,
And patterns.
Some feel tender and light,
Others heavy.
Some long past their time that are still lingering.
You instantly realize that these are cords of attachment,
Energetic strands still binding you to what has already been dissolved.
You take a slow breath in and as you exhale,
You whisper,
I see what binds me.
You begin to move along the edge of the water,
Your eyes tracing the lines of light that tether you.
The earth beneath your feet covered in fallen autumn leaves,
Gold,
Deep crimson,
Yellows.
They crunch gently as you walk.
Just ahead,
Something catches your eye,
A glint of light among the leaves.
You kneel down and brush them aside,
And there,
Half hidden in the earth,
Lies a blade.
You remove it from the earth and you lift it carefully.
Its edge gleams,
Not menacing,
But sacred.
This is not a weapon,
It is a tool of liberation,
And as you hold it,
You understand that this blade is meant for you,
And it is time to release.
You stand from the earth holding the blade before you,
The cords still shimmering all around.
Luminous threads waiting to be cut,
Each one an offering of return.
You take a breath,
Steady and true,
As you hold the blade in your hand,
Looking down at your feet,
Feeling them on the ground,
Steady and rooted in this moment.
You let your breath sink into the earth,
Anchoring you here,
Feeling the earth's presence rise up to meet you,
Holding you and supporting you.
You take the blade in your dominant hand,
You lift it towards the sky.
You feel the air hum around you,
The pulse of energy gathering the space between above and below.
When you are ready,
With intention in your voice,
You say,
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
This blade unbinds what must be shed.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
This blade unbinds what must be shed.
You feel these words move through you like a current,
A spell,
A prayer,
A declaration of freedom.
The circle opens and the work of release begins.
You feel the echo of the words ripple through your body.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
The blade in your hand begins to hum with quiet power,
A vibration in your palm,
A warmth in your chest,
A knowing in your bones.
You look down and see the cords again,
Threads of light and shadow stretching from your body into the unseen.
With each breath,
They shimmer.
You trust what draws your eye first.
It is time.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
You raise the blade to the first cord and begin.
You feel a gentle snap.
One thread falls away,
Dissolving into light.
And again,
You breathe.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
Another loosens.
You slice through it easily and it fades.
You move rhythmically now.
Breath,
Enchant,
Intention and release.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
Each repetition becomes softer,
More powerful,
More freeing.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
With every cut,
The weight lifts.
With every breath,
Your energy returns.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
Severed cord,
Unwoven thread,
The blade unbinds what must be shed.
At last,
The air is clear.
There are no more cords.
No more tethers.
Only you.
Whole,
Luminous,
Unbound.
You take a deep,
Clearing breath.
You place the blade gently on the ground.
Bowing your head for a moment of stillness.
The wind moves softly through the trees.
You catch your reflection in the water once more.
Your true reflection.
Untangled and free.
You take a final,
Deep breath in through your nose and exhale from your mouth.
You are unwoven from shadow,
Unbound from illusion,
And freed from entanglement.
Allow yourself to gently come back to your body.
You have cut away what was never truly yours to hold,
So that you may rise clear and true.
As you move through the days ahead,
Honor the quiet,
Rest,
Hydrate.
Let your energy settle into this new lightness.
What remains now is essence and truth.
This,
This is the alchemy of freedom.
Feel yourself fully present,
Fully alive,
And fully free.
Namaste.
