So to begin now,
Please make sure you're in a comfortable place where you can relax and when you're ready to begin take a large breath in holding in as much air as you can and then just let it go and now allow yourself another full and beautiful breath in and now let it go now with your eyelids gently closed roll your eyes in and into that space between your eyebrows and as you hold your attention inward and upward just imagine as if you were staring at a full moon in the night fixate all of your attention on that inward upward spot and stare at that imaginary format as if nothing else matters and in a moment I'm going to count from five down to one and with each number that I count down I want you to imagine that the moon is drifting down towards the earth and as it relaxes and moves down so you can relax right with it so now keep focusing inward like nothing else matters the moon is starting to slowly drift down towards the earth three follow that moon slowly down and really take this time for yourself to take another deep breath hold it for a moment slowly relaxing all your level of relaxation that's right and now as you're entering relaxation let's deepen it begin to focus on your right palm relax your right palm and each finger one by one relax your right wrist relax your right bicep and entire upper arm relax your right shoulder moving down to your right hip relaxing it relax your right leg all the way down to your right ankle each toe on your right foot to the right side of your neck relaxing it allowing any sounds that you hear to feel like tiny waves of relaxation going into your neck right here right the entire side of your head fully relaxed your right brain relaxing allowing your creativity to be fully accessible your entire right side is fully calm and relaxed and you know that sleep is easy for you when you feel this relaxed and begin now to focus on your left palm relax your left palm and relax each finger relax your left wrist move down to your left hip and just notice relaxing it too you relax your left leg all the way down to your ankle allowing for any sounds that you hear to feel like tiny waves of relaxation going into your left ear left side of your head fully relaxed allowing rationality to be fully accessible your entire left side this brings you even closer to sleep and now take your awareness starting with the back of your head and allow the weight generate relaxation as the back of your head shoulders and shoulder blades fully relaxed your entire upper body is completely relaxed and your spine relaxes starting from the neck going slowly down as that wave of relaxation moves down your body and as it presses against the surface you're lying on your hips,
Pelvis and glutes relax the back of your legs all the way down to your ankles making you feel even sleepier and we're going to go through one more focus scan on the front of the body starting at your forehead as many of us hold tension in our foreheads and this also relaxes the frontal cortex of the brain the place of creative formulation relax your eyes even more now and notice they're making tiny movements and these movements are rapid eye movements which will allow you to relax even more and notice your nose and how the air passes through and allow this flow to relax you relax your mouth and your tongue relax your throat relaxing,
Releasing and letting go and every single part of your body is so relaxed now enjoy this feeling and you're going to relax your body again one more time,
But in a different way I'm going to guide you deeper with my voice simply by counting down from 10 to 1 and with each number I speak you'll feel more relaxed even more deeply relaxed than you are now because if you want this to happen it will easily happen you can just let this relaxation happen go deeper up and deeper down allowing sleep to take you down even deeper into relaxation six entering a deep state and physical relaxation feel yourself being guided deeper and deeper down deeper down into sweet relaxation and one allow yourself to simply be allowing your body and your mind to have complete freedom to relax now to be in control of itself and to heal what needs to be healed to rest what needs to be rested to allow itself to sleep rest rest allow your body to do what it does best really drift off into deep,
