A mindfulness and well-being guide,
And today I'm going to guide you through a simple breathwork technique that you can use anytime you feel you need to reset to feel more balanced and grounded throughout the day.
It's called the coherent breathing,
Which means essentially to breathe in and out for an equal count.
So this breathwork is especially really useful when you are feeling under pressure,
You've got a really busy day,
Switching between tasks,
Or feeling slightly overwhelmed.
This will help the body and mind to settle into a more balanced state.
So let's begin.
I invite you to sit in a comfortable position,
So you feel relaxed yet alert.
You can keep your eyes open,
Closed,
Or just softening the gaze,
Whatever feels comfortable for you today.
And we will breathe in and out for a count of five,
And I will guide you through a few programs.
So let's start with a natural breath,
In and out through the nose.
And now gently inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And again,
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
One more round,
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
And exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Now continue in your own pace,
Just for a few rounds.
And now let your breathing return to normal.
So,
I'm just taking a moment to notice how you feel now,
Compared to when we started.
And you can use this technique at any point during your day to reset and rebalance.
So you can think of this as a simple pause,
To return to what matters most.
And taking small pauses like this can make a real difference in your day.
