Hi,
Welcome to this 3 minutes morning gratitude meditation.
You may have just woken up and you might still be in bed,
But you might be sitting on a chair.
Either way,
Just make yourself comfortable.
So,
If you can sit up and straighten the spine,
And let's start with a couple of shoulder rolls.
So just gently,
Just to wake up the body,
Maybe we can start rolling our shoulders towards the back 3 times,
And then forward 3 times again,
And gently close down the eyes,
Maybe bring a gentle smile to your face.
And we'll just do a quick body scan,
And just imagine why you're scanning through the body from the top of your head all the way down to the tip of your toes.
Maybe you can imagine feeling some energy cascading throughout your body,
And just enjoy the vibration.
So let's do the body scan fairly quickly,
Maybe about 30 seconds,
Just to go through your entire body.
Feel the energy cascading through your torso,
Your hands,
Your hips,
Legs,
Your entire body,
Energizing you and getting you ready for the day ahead.
And I invite you to just think of one thing that you are grateful for right now.
It could be that you are healthy,
You have got roof over your head,
Your family,
Your loved ones.
Let's take one deep breath in together,
And out through the mouth.
When you are ready,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And welcome yourself back to the here and now.
