Take less than 10 minutes out of your day to open to the Grace that comes by turning inward and cultivate a sense of inner peace and clarity. The Asatoma Sadgamaya mantra is said to free us of our false egoic identifications and reveal to us our True Nature. Here, we meditate with a simple repetition of the English translation (lead me from the unreal to the real, from dark to light, from death to immortality) with plenty of silence and a gentle ending bell. There is also an underlying whisper of the original mantra in sections of the track.

Hello.

Welcome.

Today,

We'll pray with an English translation of the Istoma Sadgame.

For the next few minutes,

Let us open ourselves to the grace that comes by turning inward to cultivate a sense of inner peace and clarity.

This mantra is said to free us of our false egoic identifications and reveal to us our true nature.

My name is Beth,

And I'll be guiding our practice.

Please prepare for meditation by sitting up tall but comfortably.

Relax your face.

Your shoulders.

Your belly.

Tune into your breath.

As I recite the mantra,

Feel free to repeat after me in your own mind or perhaps in a whisper.

Then breathe and rest in the spaces between.

I will ring a gentle bell at the end of our practice.

Aum.

Lead me from the unreal to the real.

Lead me from the darkness to light.

Lead me from death to immortality.

May peace prevail.

May peace prevail.

May peace prevail.

Aum.

Lead me from the unreal to the real.

Lead me from darkness to light.

Lead me from death to immortality.

May peace prevail.

May peace prevail.

May peace prevail.

Aum.

Lead me from the unreal to the real.

Lead me from darkness to light.

Lead me from death to immortality.

May peace prevail.

May peace prevail.

May peace prevail.
