Good morning.
I'm so glad you're here.
You've arrived in the quiet space between sleep and day.
A moment to return to yourself and rise into your day on the vibration of sound.
Today we'll practice Aum chanting.
Aum is a sacred syllable that aligns body,
Mind,
And spirit.
It steadies the nervous system,
Clears stagnant energy,
And connects us to a deeper hum within.
Just a few minutes can help you feel grounded,
Open,
And attuned for the day ahead.
Chanting Aum consists of three sounds,
A,
U,
And M.
A starts in the belly and chest.
U moves through the throat and upper chest.
M vibrates in the head and crown.
Each chant flows as one long exhale,
Ending in silence.
So I'll invite you to find a tall seat.
Rest your hands,
Gently closing your eyes or softening your gaze,
And turn inward.
I'll invite you to take a deep inhale.
Belly expands.
Ribs widen.
Collarbones lift.
Exhale,
Collarbones relax,
Ribs soften,
Belly deflates.
Again,
Inhale fully into the belly,
Ribs,
Collarbones.
And exhale completely.
Collarbones relax.
And then the ribs.
And then the belly.
One more inhale,
Expand all the way up.
Exhale,
Releasing from the top down.
Feel the breath awaken the body and settle your center.
So let's chant Aum together.
Let each sound rise from the belly,
Move through the heart,
And flow out through the lips.
Join aloud if you can.
We'll chant seven times,
Allowing a full breath between each.
Here we go.
Letting the last vibration fade into silence.
Remain here in the afterglow as long as you'd like.
And as you're ready to come back.
You can gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Noticing any shifts in your energy.
Your breath,
Your mood.
Thank yourself for showing up and tuning in.
What did this Aum practice awaken in you today?
An affirmation for you is,
Today,
You are attuned to the rhythm of the universe.
And so it is.
Take good care.
